We were hungry after having fun and driving all day (28th) to Savannah for our one year anniversary the next day (29th). At first it was great. It was a bit pricey but since this is a touristy area I said whatever and paid for dinner. My spouse's burger was made wrong so I went up to the counter with understanding that it was late but my spouse wanted a specific burger. When I asked them POLITELY if we could have the burger remade, the crew gave us dirty looks and some judgemental attitude including someone shaking her head at us with side eyes. The cook then proceeded to guilt trip me instead of cooking another burger by saying "That burger you're throwing away? It was made with love". They replaced the burger only after all that commotion. They then gave us two 10$ gift cards as if it'd excuse the behavior they had. For almost 40 dollars, all I wanted was my order to be corrected. Instead I was given inexcusable attitude and a sour memory of a great chain I associated with a passed loved one. I don't want to come back to this specific 5 Guys and will not recommend it to anyone.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
