The Hispanic girl on the drive thru speaker is very unprofessional, annoying, lack of customer service. She does not even know her own menu, everything we ordered on the menu she lies and says we don’t carry that, while it’s posted on the menu, like come on. Even a 5 years old could do a better job. After we corrected her, she did not apologize, Never coming back.
Horrible...Horrible...HORRIBLE tonight. I know I shouldn't expect a lot from a fast food chain, and better yet, I should have chosen something fresher for my body, BUT tonight was a cheat meal so I threw caution to the wind to indulge my inner big back cravings. I knew I had fudged up. We received several signs to leave and seek something better yet ignored the multiple warning signs and got what we got. Upon arrival, neither of the drive thru led screens were working. A staff worker informs us that they are only taking slushie and drink orders at this time, after only having us remaining in the line after a few cars ahead of us. Okay, I ask if mobile orders are acceptable. After hesitating a moment, she says yes. They only had a semi-full lot of about 10-14 cars, and it appeared to be at least 3-4 workers during the shift. Instead of leaving immediately, we patiently chose to hang out in the lot to wait for the worst food we had in quite some time. After about 20 minutes of waiting and getting our order together on the app, we placed it and waited an additional 10 minutes or so for the food to arrive. By then the crowd had cleared, but we didn't factor that the aftermath of the dinner rush would significantly impact our food. When the bags arrived, they were piping hot so we're assuming (you know what assuming does right? Lol) that we scored the jackpot. Wrong, just WRONG. We ordered the spicy triple smasher with what we thought was loaded tots, large cream twists for the drinks and a side of jalapeño poppers. INSTEAD what we received were the regular hamburger patties (which are a decent size individually let alone stacking them), two footlong chili cheese coneys, two mixed something drinks, and a smaller count of poppers. I know what you're thinking...they've been blessed with an abundance of food, more than they originally ordered, and should be happy right? WRONG AGAIN, SO VERY WRONG. Everything, including the napkins, was old and refried so many times, it died and came back three times over. We tried to eat some of it because we were famished but ultimately had to toss it. Each item had the worst taste ever, almost like something chemical. While my pics might look good because of the camera clarity, I assure you this crap was disgusting. Hopefully, our tummies will be okay through the night and tomorrow, otherwise, we are overdue for a detox anyway, even if it is an involuntary one. All that to say...be careful with this place. It is so hit or miss.
I went to the drive thru and ordered at the pull up kiosk and the person taking the order was EXTREMELY RUDE. Then when we got the order the fries were cold, the burgers tasted as though they’d been cooked hours ago. The food was so bad we couldn’t eat it. That was a total waste of of $22. We were there around 4:00 on Aug 27.
The customer service at this location is absolutely disgraceful! I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon after 5pm for a snack. There were three cars that pulled up at the same time. On the inner drive thru call box, there was a sign that said “screen don’t work” so after ten minutes of waiting behind the car in front of me, I pulled up. A female voice said “hi” and I responded with “ hello”, and she said nothing more. I waited an additional few moments before saying “hello” again, and there was no response. I pulled up in the drive through and observed a small woman serving at the double doors. She was visibly agitated. When I pulled up, she regurgitated the most recent order, and I said, I wasn’t able to place an order because you never responded. She told me that I had to get back in the line because she was the only one on a headset, even though I observed about five staff members behind her. I told her that I waited a long time, and she huffed while walking away with one of the males shutting the double doors in my face indicating that they were not going to take my order or serve me. One young lady came through the doors and attempted to diffuse the situation, even though she also told me that I needed to get back in line after such a long wait and the incident. I thanked her for trying to be professional and asked for a manager. To my surprise, she informed me that the individual who was on the headset was the manager who clearly has very poor customer service skills, cannot keep up with the fast pace of a restaurant, or cannot diplomatically resolve customer service issues—rather choosing to be a poor example to her staff. I left, but I have to imagine that this happens all the time to people who like Sonic but have to be subjected to pure nonsense from the staff. I’ve seen a lot of Sonic locations close around metro Atlanta—it’s a shame that they build a brand new store that does not live up to the Sonic name and reputation.
This location would be better if closing its doors for business. To never be prepared for service everyday? Ridiculous. Today, we sat in front of the speaker for almost 10/12 minutes without hearing anything. When we finally heard someone speak, all we heard was a “hey” and that was it. After not hearing anything, we moved to the window after watching the line begin to get longer and longer behind us. Once getting to the window, we were greeted with the person who was (allegedly) the only person with a headset on. Everyone in the back was having an amazing time, laughing with each other and whatnot. But order weren’t being taken. Ridiculous. When we told her about our wait and not hearing anything, all we received was “You need to go back in line, we are not taking your order at the window.” The attitude was disgusting, to say the least. From rolling her eyes to looking at us with a snarl on her face when we told her it took too long to get an answer! When being told about her attitude, she turned around, yelled for someone else and slammed the window in our faces. This said person is supposed to be the manager on the shift. After being spoken to by some other associates, we found out her name her name was Jordan or something. To be the manager on shift and not know how to control your shift is one thing, but to ignore customers because you don’t feel like taking the order is another. I get it, rush hours are horrible. But your managers clearly can’t handle the business this store gets and it’s a shame. There’s a reason this location is so lowly rated. You can’t even get your food because it takes so long. And for a manager to not know how to deal with customers being the only person of authority on shift is even worse. Associated and managers like this are going to be the reason this store closes within the next two years.
