    Worst sonic in the state. Sadly I live near by so I’ve given them more chances at redemption then they deserve. If its not the icecream machine is broken the card reader is. If its not waiting for a hour for a meal you already paid for then its just made wrong or just awful. Shame on the owners of this location shame on corporate for not stepping in. This place has had a 2star review for yesrs and no change

    I grew up with Sonic in Arkansas and think the new Sonic Smash Burger is one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. Tater tots with cheese is also a favorite. I will also state that food quality and service varies location to location and that locations in smaller towns tend to be much better than locations in metro areas.

    Ordered a grilled cheese with bacon around 9:30pm. Took one bite to find out it was not grilled, just bread with cheese in the middle. Not to mention waiting 20+ minutes for this & they weren’t even busy. Had high hopes for this new location. Should’ve read the reviews first. 2.3 average is terrible & now I know why. Never going back.

    Derrick doesn’t even belong here, he belongs at a Houston’s, his service was absolutely impeccable, 5 star service. If he’s not manager or something more then a typical worker he needs a raise or a promotion or both. I’m very happy with my experience here, the food was incredible, the slushies were stellar, the whole thing makes me remember I'm so blessed

    I ordered online in the parking lot next door to Sonic at 5903 Roswell Rd in Sandy Springs at 1:10pm. Reply said 5 minutes and to go to any stall and hit the red button and give your name and order number. I pushed the red button and the employee that answered was polite. I gave my name and order number and they replied that they couldn't hear and so I repeated my name and order number. Again, they said they couldn't hear me. I spoke louder this time but again they couldn't hear me. Is was a small 10 second pause and the employee said I'll come out. I waited and about 6 minutes later and employee walks out with food but it is for a different customer in another stall. Cool. I see 3 different cars go through the drive thru, place orders and get served. I'm in stall #2, direct line of sight of the sliding door that they use to serve drive thru customers. Another employee comes out takes food to another customer in another stall and goes back in. Another car comes through the drive thru. I get out walk over to the sitting area and they have pickup drawers that I check to see if my food was there but it wasn't. I step around the corner and try the door but that's for employee's only. A few seconds later a young man comes out and asked if he could help me. I told him my name and the situation. He said hold on, went back inside and returned with my food ( lukewarm) and a quick apology of they forgot. I asked for the name of the manager and he said Winona. I asked for her last name. He said one minute and went back in then came back with a completely different first and last name if La Pas Denada. I knew then to cut my losses.
