  I have stopped in the Sonic drive-in in St Mary’s, GA several times lately only to be disappointed. Once I ordered two drinks. When I got to the window to pay, they said they rung it up wrong and my cost was about $5.00 more after I had already paid them the initial amount in cash. Then she came to the window and told me my card was denied! When I paid her an additional amount in cash, I quickly figured out the change owed me and she messed that up as well. Today, I tried again only to be disappointed again. It seems you can order what you want on the app but they can’t either read what the app tells them or they just make what they want. Either way, it’s never right! This is how my last 5+ orders have gone. I have tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but I just can’t seem to ever get what I order. I highly recommend going somewhere else for your food, snack or drink if you’re in St Mary’s. It’s just not worth it!!!

  Ordered an all American smasher with bacon, tots, and the berry citrus refresher (still). I went late at night, about 2hrs before they close. No line. I had to wait a bit for the food but it was freshly made. The burger was good. I also like that it comes in a cardboard box and not a wrapper. The tots were just how I like them, nice and golden and crispy, not soft or soggy or cold. You get a lot of them too. Might've just found my new go-to spot for burgers. I didn't care for the flavor of the drink, I'll just try a different one next time. Perhaps the watermelon peach or the cranberry limeade. All in all, I liked it. I would come back. I recommend it.
