As I entered, an employee, an African American male with short locs, made eye contact with me and then walked away without assisting. Since my order was already prepared and I was on a tight schedule to drop my daughter off at school before heading to work, I went behind the pickup counter to retrieve my food. While leaving, my daughter informed me once we got into the car that the employee had been yelling at us from across the room. I did hear him speaking loudly while I was inside, but I initially assumed he was speaking to someone else because I was also interacting with another employee who greeted us kindly and professionally. I have been visiting this location for over six years and have never experienced any issues until this employee was hired. Unfortunately, every interaction I have had with him has involved a poor attitude and unprofessional behavior that does not reflect the customer service standards I associate with Chick-fil-A. I work two jobs, including one in the medical field that begins at 4:00 a.m., and I visit this location at least twice a week to pick up breakfast for my daughter and myself because of the convenience and reliability I previously experienced here. However, I do not find it acceptable for an employee to yell across the restaurant at a customer, especially in front of a child. I would appreciate this matter being addressed appropriately. I also plan to contact corporate once I obtain the employee’s name from management.
