I’ve been going there since it was Southern Image. Don’t get me wrong if it wasn’t good, I wouldn’t have kept going back for years. But honestly it’s really disappointing that the food isn’t ready when the doors open at 10 a.m. on Sundays.
My husband and I have gone several times thinking maybe we were just too early and the food wasn’t fully prepared yet. But if that’s the case, then it shouldn’t open at 10 with only half the buffet set out right? So we tried again at 11 and 12. By then the food had come out, but the trays were already empty. It didn’t seem like anything was being refilled, so there was barely anything left to eat besides salad and dessert. This wasn’t just a one time issue, it has happened more than twice. I hate to see it’s going downhill especially since my family and my neighbors have been going there for a long time. Please do something about it.

We ordered catering for a small group (6 persons) & everything was just perfect! Picked up cocktail shrimp & chicken tenders, and everything was ready & very professionally packed up. The shrimp were so fresh, seasoned well & perfectly cooked. OMG, so good! The tenders were big, crispy, juicy bites of heaven & even the dipping sauce was a bit hit! The care and attention was much appreciated! Shout out to Corrie & Tai!

I was disappointed in the brunch buffet on Sunday , June 28, 2026. They ran out of eggs and hash browns. The sausage was over cooked and the bacon under cooked . The French toast casserole was mushy. They also ran out of fried chicken and Mac n cheese. At one point we also had to wait on clean plates. Very poorly managed. It was way overpriced. The coffee was over priced. It cost $8 for 3 cups of coffee served in a small coffee cup.
Had some lunch with family (missed the buffet). Fried porkchops were pretty good, nice flavor and juicy (collard greens a bit too watery and underseasoned). Wife's salmon (on special), which was OK. Waitress really nice and attentive. Comfortable seating and chocolate cake for dessert was wonderful. Overall, decent meal.

We had seen Bubbas advertised and we were close by so decided to give it a go. Inside there were a few people to the right of the door coming in but we were taken to the back and seated alone. The place is antiquated and not in a nice way! Old sticky varnish on the tables did not give me a nice vibe. Our server appeared quickly and we ordered a beer and water to drink. The menu looked promising and I chose flounder with hush puppies and sweet potato fries which were $2 extra. There was tartar and tomato sauces. My husband had a dish like Salisbury steak called country steak with mash and green beans and gravy. The food arrived very quickly, mine in a basket and my fish was fried in some type of dressing and you could have soled my shoes with it as it was thin and tough and fish hardly there. Sweet potato fries were very well done and I was told the hush puppies were the best in town but I just thought they did not taste of anything. The tartar sauce was slimy but the tomatoes sauce helped me get my food down. My dish was $16.99 plus $2 extra for sweet potato fries. My husband thought the best thing on his meal was the gravy! I don’t recall what his meal cost but probably the same as mine. There was no atmosphere at all as we sat in the gloom at the back of the restaurant. It was not good well cooked Southern food at all and expensive in a place which has seen better days.
