  2 reasons for two stars 1. Pizza wasn't ready when the pizza tracker said it was. Another young lady came in right behind me and hers wasn't ready either like the pizza tracker informed her. 2. Brenda who works here took off her shoe to adjust & retie the shoe. Okay, cool. Then she goes back to handling empty boxes and handed me my pizza without washing her hands. 😒 You should always take pride in preparing food, especially someone else's.

  The entire experience was the WORST The Manager, the quality and horrible pizza and Brownies being smashed by the store completely on the left and front side. Missing dipping sauce, that I paid extra for. Pizza is brunt around the crust area. Some pieces thin crust while other hand tossed. Not only poor Quality but the Customer service is even worst! The manager on duty on 6/11/26 was very rude and disrespectful when I called to complain about my order and how it was delivered! He yelled at me and hung up the phone on me also. Papa John's, is this the example that you set for your management team to handle conflict resolution with your customers because he is an terrible example of representation for the company. This will be taken to Corporate and I feel sorry for fellow Pooler residents, to have to deal with a Papa John's like this, in our great area! Papa John's please handle this!

  I absolutely LOVE Papa John’s and I’m genuinely glad there’s one conveniently located in Pooler. When everything runs smoothly, it’s exactly the kind of easy, consistent pizza option I enjoy. That said, my experiences with service at this location have been a bit frustrating at times. In particular, the young lady working the register often comes across as very nonchalant, even when there are clear issues happening at the counter. On one visit, the card reader stopped working, and instead of showing any sense of urgency to resolve it or escalate the issue, it felt like things just paused without much concern for getting customers taken care of efficiently. That lack of urgency stood out, especially in a fast-paced food service environment where quick problem-solving really matters. It’s not about expecting perfection, I completely understand things break or get busy, but the overall tone and pace from the front counter can really shape the customer experience, and in this case it didn’t feel very attentive or responsive. I still like the brand and will likely continue ordering because of the convenience and the product itself, but I do hope to see a bit more engagement and urgency in customer interactions going forward. It would make a big difference in the overall experience!

  Kristy is so cool! We had a complicated order and she repeated it back in detail right away. The pizza was made fast and its delicious!! Thank you for the great service and food ☺️
