  Fell in love with the 1940s diner/supper club atmosphere. Buffet/ lunch counter ordering Comfort food like country fried steak, stewed tomatoes and okra, even chicken tenders and fries... perfect lunch 😋 (They close at 2pm, so make sure to be served before 1:58 pm)

  Miss Sophie's is a line restaurant meaning you go through the line and choose your entree and sides. I had the fried chicken, real mac and cheese and a mixture of fresh summer veggies that included zucchini, yellow squash, onions and tomatoes and a cheese biscuit. Absolutely mouth watering! My mom had fried pork chop, the same veggie mixture and wild rice and a cheese biscuit. She raved of how good it was. The atmosphere was friendly and nostalgic. The music was a reminder of the days of find memories.I would definitely recommend this restaurant for any palate. Sorry my photos has an eaten piece of chicken. I couldn't wait to eat and then I realized I needed to take a picture. lol 😂😂

  Went here for the first time recently. Food was great and staff was friendly. I plan to go back again.

  Food was delicious! So much to choose from. The restaurant is just inside the museum, so it's easy to find. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Everything we had was delicious, especially the fried chicken. Plenty of seating at 11:30 on a Friday. Definitely a must-stop if you're passing through.
