Chris Pike wasn’t just working the grill—he was orchestrating it like a symphony conductor who had something to prove. At one point I’m 90% sure the spatula left his hand, did a full mid-air rotation, and landed perfectly back in his grip while he maintained eye contact with a customer asking for extra pickles. No panic. No hesitation. Just greatness. I ordered a regular cheeseburger. Chris looked at me, nodded slowly, and said, “I got you.” I don’t know what that meant at the time… but I do now. Five minutes later, my burger came out wrapped like it had been blessed by a council of elders. The fries? Overflowing. Not just the standard Five Guys “extra”—I’m talking generational wealth levels of fries. I checked the bag twice to make sure I didn’t accidentally receive someone’s inheritance. While I was eating, a small child dropped his milkshake. Before it even hit the ground, Chris appeared out of nowhere, caught it mid-air, replaced it with a fresh one, and gave the kid a nod like, “Not today.” I don’t know how else to explain it. At one point, I swear the music in the restaurant got louder when Chris walked by. Not because someone turned it up—because it respected him. Manager, if you’re reading this: I don’t know what you’re paying Chris Pike, but it’s not enough. This man isn’t an employee—he’s a Five Guys experience. A legend. Possibly a myth passed down through burger folklore. I came in hungry. I left questioning reality. 10/10. Would trust Chris Pike with my order, my future, and possibly national security
