We made reservations for 9pm and we were seated at 8:55pm. This helped the start of our outing in a positive way! The waitress was very pleasant, patient, and knowledgeable. I give her a 10 out of 10! The food did not disappoint!! The crab cake baked to perfection and melted in my mouth. I ordered the Atlantic Salmon Alexander and it was delicious. The portions were large enough to fill me up with a nice and heavy take home box! If you in the area and love seafood I suggest you TRY IT! You will not be disappointed... and thats on everything!!

Disappointed with our visit to Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen in Atlanta. We were celebrating a special occasion—my sister’s birthday—and were expecting a great meal to match the higher price point. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best and fell way short of expectations. It’s frustrating to pay top dollar for a meal that simply doesn't deliver. Buyer beware if you're looking for a special dining experience

I was very disappointed after visiting Pappadeaux’s for the first time with my family while visiting Atlanta. We’re from South Florida, and we had an 11:30am reservation on 07/12/2026. We ended up being about little over 15 minutes late due to checking out of our hotel, and waiting for valet to bring our car. I called the restaurant as we were waiting in Valet to pick us up, and the host told us that that they had a 15 minute grace period. We left the hotel as soon as we got our car from Valet, and headed straight to the restaurant as soon as we could. I arrived to the restaurant right at the end of the 15 minute grace period (11:45am), and my family members were in a separate car and on the way as well, but they had not arrived to the restaurant. As soon as I arrived to the restaurant, I tried explaining to the host about our situation, that we had a reservation, and that my family members were on the way. I asked for at least 10-15 additional minutes for everyone to arrive. The host did not try to accommodate us at all, told us that the next reservation available wasn’t until 2:45pm that day. This time wasn’t going to work for us because we had to travel back on the road by a certain time. Keep in mind that the restaurant was nearly EMPTY! Im sure our reservation couldn’t have filled that fast. So, we were turned away, and ended up having to eat somewhere else. *Louisiana Bistreaux in Decatur, GA was a perfect alternative! I won’t ever return to Pappadeaux! 👎🏾 smh

Disappointing experience. Came in with a party of 5. Hostess said it would be an hour wait despite several open tables. Supposedly they only have a few tables that can accommodate more than 4 people (weird choice for a restaurant of this size), and they refused to push two 4 top tables together (again weird). So we were seated at two separate tables next to each other and we had to talk across several feet between the tables for no reason. What made it more frustrating is that there was a 6 person table with only 2 people dining at it. Next to that was another 6 person table completely empty for the entirety of the 90 mins that we were there so it’s really a shame our family could not sit together. To top it off, I ordered the chopped salad which usually comes with basically a whole avocado. Mine did not come with it. When asked about it, I was told they didn’t have any ripe ones. Kind of unacceptable. Keep your kitchen stocked correctly and/or let the customer know when ordering. After another bad experience with curbside pickup when no one came out to bring our food after following the correct protocol, we will not be bringing our business to this location anymore.

I selected this establishment for a birthday luncheon, and I acknowledge that it was a busy period. The initial wait was not an issue. However, for a party of eight, we experienced a wait exceeding two hours, despite the availability of numerous tables that could have been consolidated. I found it necessary to intervene after a party of fourteen departed, as it appeared their table was being allocated to another group. The server initially conveyed an impression of providing attentive service; however, this was only partially realized. 1. The french fries were served cold. 2. Neither I nor another member of our party received water, only a cup of ice. 3. My request for sweet tea resulted in unsweetened tea being served. 4. No one received beverage refills. Upon the server collecting the checks, a friend indicated that she would cover my portion. We were present from 4:50 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., with an additional thirty minutes for photographs. We believed all matters were resolved, as the server provided to-go containers and returned the payment cards. However, I received a call en route home regarding an unpaid bill. I informed the manager that we had instructed the server to include that bill with my friend's payment. It is unconventional for the guest celebrating their birthday to be responsible for their own meal. I offered to settle the outstanding amount without a gratuity, given the overall unsatisfactory experience. The manager's demeanor was unhelpful, stating that payment could not be processed over the phone. I explained my considerable distance from the establishment and suggested a $60 Pappadeaux's gift card as an alternative. Payment card details should not be considered private information in such a context. The manager did not approach our table at any point during our extended wait. I have dined at this location multiple times previously and have never encountered such treatment. Furthermore, the manager appeared indifferent to our prolonged wait and the issues we experienced. Her primary concern was the unpaid balance, which I attribute to the server's oversight in not consolidating all bills or ensuring complete payment collection before our departure. We were present for a total of six hours. The service received was unsatisfactory, and the waitress demonstrated a lack of active listening skills. It is recommended that all payments be processed collectively rather than individually. Despite my explicit instruction to include a specific ticket with the bill, which was acknowledged by the waitress, she proceeded to process my friend's payment at a separate register. I even intervened by informing another waiter about the situation, as it appeared to be causing a misunderstanding regarding the suggested tip. I was advised to contact the General Manager to inquire about the possibility of processing a gift card payment over the phone. I will no longer be dining at Pappadeaux's. My dissatisfaction stems not from the cost, but from the quality of service received. It is important to note that despite the high temperatures and an hour of outdoor exposure, our request for water was denied by the host, even for a to-go cup. This is particularly noteworthy given that other individuals were observed with beverages and alcoholic drinks in the outdoor area.SMH!
