  "Come for the chicken, stay for the locomotive vibrations." Let me just start by saying, if you haven’t been to Truett’s in McDonough, are you even living your best life? First off, the food is absolutely amazing. I don’t know what kind of black magic they are working in that kitchen, but the chicken is so tender it practically melts in your mouth. Pretty sure they marinate it in pure joy and golden rays of sunshine. I ordered enough food to feed a small army, and I regret absolutely nothing. Now, let’s talk about the vibe. The atmosphere is undeniably cool—it’s got that classic, nostalgic 50s diner energy but turned up to eleven. It feels like stepping back in time, minus the lack of Wi-Fi. But the absolute crown jewel of the whole experience? The train tracks around the room. Honestly, the train is the ultimate added boost. There is nothing quite like biting into a waffle fry just as a massive freight train barrels past, rattling your sweet tea and vibrating your soul. It’s like dinner theater, but louder and with more diesel power. It adds a certain "industrial-chic adrenaline rush" to your lunch that you just can't find anywhere else.   I generally enjoyed my meal, but what is up with the strawberry hibiscus Sprite?! It was horrible! The Sprite was incredibly weak in flavor and fizz, and the taste of strawberry was nowhere in the chat. On top of that, the drink had an incredibly medicinal/bitter taste. I honestly should have returned it for another drink. Maybe that flavor was running out. I dunno.

  Best chicken biscuits ever! The biscuits here are so buttery and light. The chicken is so well seasoned and delicious i work in Stockbridge, Lovejoy and morrow and eat from all three Chick-fil-A’s but morrow is my favorite. It’s like the others have different biscuits they’re Kind of thick.

  Few chairs available. There was a table empty and over 10 minutes later a lady came to take us out saying she was there first but had gone to the bathroom.
