  I utilized the drive-through on Tueday May 13th 2026 around 9 p.m. The staff at the drive through mistakenly got my order wrong. When I got to the window and informed them of the error, I was handed the wrong food and essentially told nothing could be done and the window was closed on me. I sat there and insisted through the closed window that I wanted a manager. The manager was dismissive and rude. First acting as if she had no power to do anything and then finally telling me I would need to come inside. I bundled all of the food and drinks and made my way inside. I was left standing at the counter and it was clearly intentional. This was the rudest and most unprofessional crew I have ever experienced. They have no understanding of customer service. After having to request to be helped multiple times with the crew just staring at me laughing, the manager finally came over. When I asked fir the manager's name she replied "I forgot my name" she said that twice when I advised I would be contacting their corporate office. This was a horrible experience. It resulted in a back and forth with multiple staff hurling insults and taunting me. In the midst of the chaos, one youg staff member seeing what was going on came over to try to help de-escalate the issue. I will admit I was extremely angry at this point. The young man's name was Donovan. He was the ONLY person on that crew that demonstrated any professionalism , care and concern. Imagine a situation where the night lead or manager tells you they forgot their name, but this young man had enough sense and consideration for the damage that was being caused to the brand to do the right thing and at least try to help. He was a light and I want to place the emphasis of this review on Donovan. This young man should be the store manager. The others all deserve to be fired. McDonald's needs to know why this sore gets such low ratings. There are multiple reviews of similar customer experiences. It is disgraceful to treat customers in this way.

  This location is terrible. Just as bad as the bill Gardner location now. Managers and employees cursing at customers, locking people out that are waiting for the order they already placed and telling the other customer not to let them back in and ignoring them, but yet customers have to go out that same door that an angry customer is banging on, just creating an unsafe environment for the customers and everyone involved. Terrible management and customer service. The Lake dow McDonald's runs circles around this location.

  I visited this McDonald’s location at 8:00 AM at 200 Jonesboro Rd, McDonough, GA 30253, and was refused service at the counter. I was told to use the kiosk or go through the drive-thru, even after clearly explaining that I only had cash and do not have a vehicle. No alternative was offered, and I was effectively denied service as a paying customer. The employee was dismissive and unprofessional throughout the interaction. When I asked for her name, she refused to provide it. The situation escalated unnecessarily when the police were called, despite me simply attempting to place an order and resolve the issue. This reflects a serious breakdown in basic customer service, judgment, and accountability. Refusing service to a paying customer and escalating it to law enforcement instead of resolving it appropriately is unacceptable. This situation warrants immediate management review, staff retraining, and clear enforcement of customer service standards. I am requesting follow-up regarding how this will be addressed.
