  I try to be honest in my reviews. This was not a positive experience. The staff (1 in particular) were not very attentive. I had issues with my order where it apparently got overlooked or forgotten. I was with a group of 6 or 7. By the time I actually got my food all my friends had finished theirs. Confusion can happen. I understand that. This "manager" was all over the place. She forgot myself and a friend when we ordered beers. We stood there for a good 5 minutes waiting for her to return and pour our beers. I won't trash the restaurant but her service in particular was sub-par at best. I ended up eating half of my friends food and taking mine to go because everyone else was already finished.

  Great pizza and salad bar with all the goodies! I am hard to please when it comes to pizza but this place hit all the marks with the toppings, the sauce and the crust. We ordered the Bigfoot and it was a nice size with a good ratio of toppings. It was just my mom and I so we ended up with leftovers but we weren't complaining about that 😂

  Came in today, and the food was phenomenal! The atmosphere was great, and the customer service was excellent. My waitress, Destiny, was very knowledgeable about the menu and did a fantastic job. I told her to make me something good, and she created some amazing cocktails that weren’t even on the menu! Definitely a place I’ll be coming back to the next time I’m in the area. Highly recommend checking this place out!

  Friendly staff, self service for drinks. Waiting time for food to be bought to table was about 15 minutes which is good considering the number of people who ordered after me. Pizza was hot, plenty of cheese and toppings. You can eat in the dining room or on the massive patio.

  ★★★★★ Twisted Tomato was a perfect lunch stop during our McCaysville layover on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. They use counter service, so you place your order, take your drinks and table marker with you, and then your food is brought out to your table. The process was easy and worked well for a casual lunch. We ordered the Margherita Classic because it is listed as a local favorite, and we can see why. We really enjoyed it. We shared the pizza along with a pitcher. One of the best parts was the setting. Twisted Tomato sits right on the Toccoa River, and we ate outside on the balcony with excellent river views. It made the whole lunch feel like part of the experience rather than just a quick meal during the layover. Relaxed, tasty, scenic, and easy to fit into our time in McCaysville. We would definitely stop here again when we are in the area.
