Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

This location hired the wrong staff, and it shows (with a far lower sales figure than originally projected ... nobody is ever in the place, and the drive-thru may have a car or two in it at dinner time). This location will only make it long term if the owners/corporation have deep pockets; otherwise, it won't last 3 years, sorry to say. O'Charley's (on the real estate, originally) was FAR BUSIER than this place could ever dream of being. Hire better employees, Whataburger, or face closure down the road.

I usually come through pretty late because of my work schedule, and every time the service is on point. There’s a gentleman in the drive-through who clearly takes pride in what he does. He actually remembers me and my order, which says a lot about the level of customer care here. He’s always friendly, personable, and genuinely pleasant to interact with, it makes a late-night stop feel welcoming instead of routine. On my most recent visit, I forgot to ask for a side of Thousand Island (which you can’t order through the app, so I always have to request it at the window). I didn’t realize until I had already driven off, but when I checked my bag, it was there. He remembered. That level of attention to detail and consistency is rare. Great food, even better service. This location is doing it right. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
