- DTDanielle Taylor1 day ago1.0Our party of four was sat at 9:05 for dinner. We finally left at 9:25 after nobody greeted our table. During the 20 minutes the table next to us was talking to the manager due to their food not arriving after ordering an hour ago.
- DMDebra Mobley3 days ago5.0My boyfriend and I brought a friend here for her birthday. This was my very first time here. I think I’m still speechless from the amazing experience we had last night. First, the service was fantastic, our server was bright, bubbly and attentive- and very familiar with the menu and gave great recommendations. Secondly the food (while a little pricy) was absolutely delicious. We had a small blip with our order which wasn’t even worth mentioning but was addressed by the manager himself which we truly didn’t expect. The portions are huge and the margarita was on point. But the main reason I wanted to write a review was the Luis Mariachi band that was entertaining everyone. They came to our table and we told them it was our friends birthday but to please not do the cheesy birthday song. One minute later they broke out in the MOST lovely rendition of Stand By Me I’ve ever heard. The music and singing truly left an impression and brought tears to my eyes. I would come back again just for them!

They ran out of one item and the manager came right out to deliver the “news” and was intent on finding us something else for dessert and even offered to give us the replacement complimentary. This kind of hospitality is so refreshing. I think the food could be lesser with this kind of intentional service and still be a new fav place. But the food is awesome too. Plus the building and decor are a vibe all to its own.

Today wasy first time getting the red snapper tacos. Highly recommend. I remember the quesadillas being really good. Higher price, but they make sure the food is all nice and hot and give you fair portion of food to make it worth your while. Salsa was really good too. I need to come here more often.
- TBTejas BootsSep 6, 20262.0First, we had to wait 30 minutes over our reservation time. The staff was walking around not picking up empty bottles, and dishes off the tables. They spent more time huddling at the hostess stand than helping guests. We were finally sat at our table, but without menus. We had to get them ourselves. We ordered and waited a very long time for our food to come. They served us chips with salsa 3x to compensate the wait. When it arrived, my order was not correct, and it was cold. I had the chipotle tacos. The chicken was ice cold and cheese not melted. We also ordered enchiladas. The meat sauce for the enchiladas was more liquid, and missing beef. Any condiments like garlic butter, etc. took forever to arrive to the table. It was not an experience I would repeat anytime soon. We have been Pappasito‘s guests for over 20 years, and this is not the level of food and experience true to the restaurant. They comped the cold food, but overall, we were terribly disappointed with the entire experience. Sadly, it will be a long time before we go back.
