I won't ever go back. The food is very bland. It's also pricey. I got the lamb shank plate...the side dishes are about 3 spoonfuls each. :(

The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced for the portion you receive. Service was quick! Make sure you visit the market and take home some of the confections, Turkish delight, baklava, etc! Everything we tried was well prepared and tasty. Staff were friendly and courteous. We highly recommend and will be returning soon!

My platter was delicious, and I think the price is very reasonable. There’s plenty of seating inside the restaurant, and it’s connected to a grocery store where you can pick up lots of fresh baked goods.
However, I paid $3.99 for a side of baba ghanoush, and the bowl wasn't even half full, which was disappointing. I also requested no tahini salad on my platter, but it looked like they had simply scooped it out after realizing my request because there was still leftover tahini sauce spread across that section of the plate.

Wow, the food is here is absolutely mid. The spicy chicken skewers need to be cooked more. The lamb shank is boiled, there is barely any seasoning on it. The kebob tastes bland and almost dry. The taboula is not fresh. The only good thing here was the fries, the hummus, and the baba ghounish. I am truly disappointed this place is rated high bc this is not what true Arabic food tastes like.

Ordered to go for the second time in a few weeks. The website makes online ordering so easy, especially with online photos/descriptions of each item, and ETAs. The Jerusalem Cheesesteak was so good our first visit, we ordered it again. We also tried the Kufta Kabob Platter. It's beautifully presented, really the nicest to-go plate I've seen in all my years. The tabbouleh, hummus, tahini salad, and side sauces were amazing and the baba ghanough is, on its own, worth returning for (my favorite side). The Kufta itself was tasty, but firmer than I expected. Recently, I had a similar Kufta Platter elsewhere and the meat was easy to cut with a fork. While quite delicious, it was different than I expected and needed cutlery to slice. Will definitely return to sample more dishes from Jerusalem Bakery & Cafe.
