We wanted to try something a little different for a night out, so we decided to check out Dave & Buster's.
We started with the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, and that was honestly one of the highlights. It came out quickly, tasted great, and was definitely worth ordering. For our meals, I went with a burger and my wife ordered a pasta dish. My burger was okay—not terrible, but not very impressive either. I’ve definitely had better, even at other Dave & Buster’s locations.
Unfortunately, the biggest letdown was the pasta. It arrived slightly cold and was drenched in oil, making it both unappealing to look at and not great in taste. That said, I’ve got to give credit where it’s due—the service really turned things around. Our server was fantastic, quickly addressed the issue, got the dish taken off the bill, and had a replacement made. The manager was also very understanding and did a great job making sure we left with a better experience.
As for the arcade side, it was a bit of a mixed bag. There’s a good variety of games, but the overall feel was a little dated. Some machines were worn down, scratched up, or not working, which takes away from the experience a bit. I get that it’s an arcade, but it still felt like it could use some updating. The men’s restroom was also a bit hard to find from the dining area since it’s tucked into the arcade between machines.
On the positive side, the prize area is really well done with a great selection—especially if you’re bringing kids. One standout was the human claw machine, where you strap in and get lowered down to grab prizes. That was a unique and fun experience. I do wish they had more larger-scale or VR-style games, but there’s still enough to keep you entertained.
They also offer additional activities like bowling, darts, and open seating areas where you can hang out and socialize, which is a nice touch. We went on an off day to avoid the crowds, and it was a good way to get a feel for the place when it’s not packed.
Overall, it’s a decent spot for a fun outing with family or friends, especially if you’re there for the games and atmosphere. Food-wise, I’d be a bit selective, as some items don’t quite match the price. Drinks are on the pricier side too, but that’s expected for a place like this. There’s plenty of parking, including convenient handicap spaces, which is a plus.
All in all, it’s worth checking out if you’re looking to have a good time—just go in knowing the food can be hit or miss.
