I love chipotle but these workers are very confused about their job. I ordered twice from here and the first time the woman didn’t speak English and couldn’t communicate with me or figure out the portions. The second time, I ordered through the chipotlane, and no workers came to the window for 20 minutes! We had to go inside and ask and they said they were closed even after we had ordered and waited behind one car with no explanation about what was happening. Or also please explain to me why there are no adults in the store and everyone working there can’t even rent a car. This place needs to figure it out.

By far the worst experience I have had at ANY chipotle location. I have had some visits to this specific location with some hiccups, but tonight’s service was extremely off putting. The guy making the order was literally scraping white rice, that was dried on and hardened, off the sides of the pan rather than going ahead and switching out the new rice batch right next to him. Then when I asked for a light amount of sour cream he scooped as much as he could into the spoon and plopped it on my bowl. Ok whatever, I could live with that. Then, my boyfriend goes to order. Everything seems to be ok until he out of the blue decided to try to add sour cream. My boyfriend let him know while he was scooping that he does not want sour cream, and this guy plopped a huge amount right on top of his bowl. Then, he looks up and asks “what?” My boyfriend tells him that he said no sour cream. This guy decides to start digging his hands into the bowl, yes they were gloved but still, and say “I can take it off”. Honestly we were debating just leaving but I think we were so shocked we just paid and left. This was an absolutely terrible experience and I would say I hope someone in management would take this serious but by the look of the rating currently that doesn’t seem likely.
I have a bit of a love-hate relationship with Chipotle, and this visit to the Marietta location was a good example of why.
I ordered my usual chicken bowl with black beans, rice, pico, corn, and fajita vegetables. This time, I decided to try the much-publicized cilantro lime sauce after the server recommended it. She put what looked like a small sample amount in a little cup, so I assumed it was just a complimentary taste. It wasn't until after I left that I noticed a $3 charge on my receipt. I probably wouldn't have minded paying for it had I enjoyed it, but unfortunately, I thought it tasted awful. Thankfully, I had asked for it on the side, so it didn't ruin the bowl.
The good news is that the bowl itself was delicious, which is one of the reasons I keep coming back to Chipotle. The food quality and flavor are generally very consistent from one location to another. I paid about $11 for this bowl compared to the roughly $9 I'm used to paying back home, but considering I was traveling, I wasn't too surprised by the difference.
One ongoing concern I have with Chipotle as a brand is cleanliness. This particular location wasn't the worst I've seen, but I've noticed across many Chipotle restaurants that tables often have food residue on them, trash cans can become overcrowded, and the floors could use more frequent attention. I understand they get extremely busy, but for a company of this size and success, it seems reasonable to dedicate someone to maintaining the dining area throughout the day.
Another issue I've raised at several Chipotle locations over the years involves employees changing food trays while preparing orders, occasionally allowing water from beneath the trays to drip onto customers' food. To be fair, that did not happen during this visit, but it's something I wish the company would address more consistently.
Despite these criticisms, I still return because the food is genuinely that good and the prices remain reasonable for what you get. A little more attention to cleanliness, transparency on add-on charges, and operational details would go a long way.

This is the third time my wife and I have come to this location because it is close to our new home, and we didn’t want a couple of bad experiences to ruin what is usually a good chain for us. Unfortunately, this was the third bad experience in a row.
The service was poor, the food was not well prepared, and the staff seemed completely disorganized. The person making my food forgot it was mine, even though there was only one other person in line and no one else in the restaurant. My wife asked about the new cilantro-lime sauce, but it looked strange and overly thick. The employee even mentioned that someone else had made it and that it “never looks like that,” but still offered to serve it.
They struggled to wrap my food, then put it into a paper bag that was dragged through old sauce on a dirty counter. At checkout, the cashier had to ask multiple times what we ordered, and the whole process felt careless and unclean.
After a three-minute drive home, my food was already cold, which is concerning. It made me question whether the food was being kept at the proper temperature, and that could be a real food safety issue.
We have given this location multiple chances, but after three poor experiences in a row, we will not be returning.

Night crew is not it and idk who is leaving them unattended but every employee seems like they're either high or they just absolutely do not care at all about what's going on in the restaurant. The last time we stopped by was around 9pm, there were a total of 4 customers in the store including my husband and I (no customers in drive thru)- The 3 employees at the front had a decent amount of trouble trying to coordinate the 4 customers orders at hand, even though there were virtually no modifications. Every time we stop in to this location, we have a similar experience. I'm not trying to be rude this is as objective of a comment I could leave. We will be driving out of our way to go to the Kennesaw location next time.
