Worst restaurant experience I’ve had in my 6 years in Atlanta. The Punjabi sabji was unbelievably bad. The serving staff had no idea how restaurant service works. There were only around 30 people when we visited, but after taking the order, nobody came back to check if customers needed anything. Basic hospitality was completely missing. And for people coming here after watching Instagram reels, please don’t waste your money. It’s all hype and feels like a scam. Bhai-behen, paisa aur time dono barbaad mat karo.

Great interior but wish I could say the same for food and staff. Drove here for over an hour and had terrible experience. Staff didn’t know how to even serve neither they would get us food on timely manner. No one would come to get orders in, they don’t respect customers time. There is literally no one in the front to know what customer wants and where they go. In short, you shouldn’t come to eat here.

Super bad experience. Food is ok ok. Service is very very poor. Had to ask for onion side three times to get it. We got our food but never got our lassi and buttermilk. Had to remind them after starting to eat the food again to bring the drinks. I would never be back. The young lady who came towards end provided better service but overall it was a miserable experience.

Very disappointing experience from Chaska. We ordered Dal Tadka (Tur Dal) with basmati rice, but they sent completely different dal (looked like chana dal) than what was mentioned on the menu. If you advertise Tur Dal, then please send the correct item. The Palak Paneer was very poor quality — just watery green gravy with a few paneer pieces. It felt like the focus was only on making everything extra spicy instead of maintaining authentic taste and quality. The Garlic Naan was soggy and seemed undercooked, not fresh at all. Only the Gulab Jamun and Rasmalai tasted good, but even the Gulab Jamun did not have enough syrup. Also, restaurants should at least check when an order is coming from a hospital or emergency room area. As a courtesy, they should try to send fresh, good-quality food, especially when someone may already be going through a difficult time. According to the price, the food quantity was also not enough. The dal and curry portions were very small — more like little bowl portions, not enough properly for 2 people considering the price charged. Very disappointed because the food looked nothing like the menu description and quality was not worth the price. I hope the restaurant improves food quality, consistency, portion sizes, and sends the correct items customers actually order.

I visited Cheska yesterday and had a very disappointing experience, not just because of the food issue, but because of how poorly the situation was handled. We ordered one plate of dal baati to try, and the first plate was actually good. The baatis were baked properly, so we decided to order another plate. The second plate came after almost 25–30 minutes and only after we reminded the staff. When it finally arrived, the baatis were visibly underbaked. You could clearly see the raw, doughy inside, and it tasted like uncooked dough. As someone who is Rajasthani/Marwari, I know what dal baati is supposed to be like. This was not a matter of preference or “ghee not soaking in,” which was the explanation we were given. The first plate itself was proof that they knew how it should have been served. When we raised the issue, instead of sending a manager or handling it professionally, a server came over with an extremely dismissive and arrogant attitude. She insisted that “this is how baati is supposed to be” and said the owners are also Marwari and that they have been doing this for 10 years. That explanation made no sense. Even a restaurant that has been operating for years can make a mistake, and the appropriate response should have been accountability, not argument. She offered to replace it, but within two minutes brought another plate that had the same issue. We tried eating some of the dal because we were hungry and this was supposed to be our dinner, but the baatis were still raw/doughy. When we told her again, she argued with us and then simply took the entire plate away, including the dal, and still charged us for it on the bill. And the way she got the plate out the second time and slapped it on the table, was honestly really bad attitude. That was honestly the most disappointing part. Mistakes happen in restaurants, but the way staff treat customers when something goes wrong says everything about the business. The lack of courtesy, accountability, and basic service etiquette was shocking. I refrained from posting this on social media because I understand that reviews can affect businesses, but I do think the restaurant needs to take accountability. Good food alone is not enough if the service lacks respect and professionalism. I hope management takes this seriously and trains staff to handle customer concerns with basic courtesy.
