Visited this location a few weeks back, and while the young lady was fixing my sons food, she noticed a long, black hair in the beans that she put on his plate (she never mentioned anything to me, I just observed her as she worked), and she proceeded to attempt to pick this long black hair out of the pinto beans until she got it out, walked it to the trash, came back and looked up at me as if nothing happened with the same plate in her hand waiting for me to tell her what else to put on it. Confused, I immediately said “I’m absolutely gonna need that to be remade, please. You just pulled a hair out of his food, and I can not allow him to eat that.”, and she turned around and threw the plate away, but reused the taco shells that were on the plate with the contaminated food. I threw it away as I left and just allowed my son to have my plate. I didn’t bother advising any of the other staff during check out because they’re rude and unwelcoming, so I figured more than likely that nothing would be done about it anyways.
Fast forward to this past weekend on 6/18 at 11:35am, and I go back to this location to get 2 bowls and a kids meal again, and upon opening my plate when I got home there is indeed another long, nasty hair enmeshed in my food. I attempted to contact the location several times to let them know of the issue, because it seems as if this is part of a larger issue regarding their cleanliness, but calling their number only allows you to speak to someone from corporate/customer service, not the store, who then confirms your email address, then emails you apologizing for the inconvenience, and issues a voucher for the item to be replaced, after agreeing to initially refund your money.
I didn’t want another item, as I very clearly stated when I spoke with “Al”, as I let him know that I wouldn’t want the same thing happening again at this location or the next one, as it has already happened twice. I wanted the $45 back that I paid for food that was contaminated, like the representative said he would give me.
I will not patronize this location again, and will only be visiting another Chipotle closer to my job to use the vouchers given to me to feed the homeless around my building before I close my rewards account. I figured I could at least it would do some good after these negative experiences with this location.
