Food was pretty good especially the grits. It took ages for the food to arrive. Atmosphere was decent. I liked the man who provided live entertainment.

DON’T DINE HERE. 😞
As a small business owner who genuinely supports local businesses, I usually refrain from leaving negative reviews. However, this experience has been particularly disappointing, and I feel compelled to share my personal story to help others make informed decisions.
On Mother’s Day, multiple members of my party fell seriously ill after eating here. I personally had to seek urgent care treatment shortly afterward due to severe vomiting and gastrointestinal symptoms.
I promptly reported the incident to management, provided medical documentation from urgent care, and followed up multiple times to seek a reasonable resolution. Surprisingly, the response I received was dismissive. They claimed that no other guests or staff had reported illness and offered only a vague hope that I would recover. They refused to provide a refund or take any accountability for the situation.
Our party of six spent over $400 on Mother’s Day brunch. We were not informed beforehand that the restaurant would be serving an uncovered buffet setup at the bar area. During the meal, my son noticed another guest touching and tasting food at the buffet with her hands. I was deeply concerned about the lack of supervision around exposed food while guests were serving themselves.
Furthermore, several members of our party commented that the steak and chicken tasted unusual. Unfortunately, none of us were able to finish our meals because we began feeling unwell.
By the time we left the restaurant, I was already nauseated with a headache. My symptoms quickly escalated into vomiting and continued for days afterward.
In light of these events, I have taken the following steps:
- Sought medical treatment and provided documentation.
- Reported the incident to restaurant management.
- Filed a formal complaint with the Gwinnett, Newton & Rockdale County Health Department (GNR).
Let me begin by saying that we went for brunch to order my favorite crab cake & eggs Benedict.
Only to be told after sitting down that it's a buffet Only because it's mother's day. We should have left immediately but didn't. Mind you nobody mentioned the buffet during either of the phone calls to reserve a table. Food was ok. Not great, choices limited. We order a half carafe mimosa for $12 but the buffet was $55 per person. So yeah I tipped the server $25 because it wasn't her fault but total for 2 people for a buffet that wasn't even close to what we went there for was $156.68. What was an incredible brunch spot is now a place that I will never return to. Management you should do better. Your decisions made in greed have long lasting consequences.
Today is May17th and in response to your reply. We only made our reservations about an hour before arriving so we didn't receive any voicmail informing us of the annual Mother's day brunch but since it isn't a very common thing I would think that informing those calling to make a reservation for that day, should be notified that things wouldn't be operating as usual that day. My only other curiosity is why charge $55 for a buffet? $55 is more than anything that I have ever seen on the daily menu. I know that the times that we visited before, we did not pay $55 per person. Who chooses to pay $55 for a plate of food that has been sitting out for an hour and not even prepared to order? Having to pay more for that left out food just didn't sit well with me. The hostess taking the reservation could have just as easily told anyone that called that things would be operating differently that day but didn't, and we spoke twice. The situation along with my 1 star review could have been avoided, easily.

Unbelievably underwhelming and overpriced food. Spent $55 per person for a brunch buffet where the food, at best, was lukewarm. Many items were simply not labeled or hard to find (took a pass to discover the salad was offered with a vinaigrette). I was unaware that Mother’s Day service would have a brunch buffet rather than their regular brunch menu, which was more reasonably priced. Only informed of the cost after the bill arrived. I could have stayed home for a better culinary experience.
Came here on mother's Day not knowing they had a special buffet for the day. The food was not that great and a lot of it was cold but whatever we just were hungry and wanted to eat. I was most looking forward to the shrimp and grits which were so thin it was basically liquid and also had a burnt flavor. Then we were blindsided by the price being 55 per person for such mediocre food. Would not be back.
