  We were disappointed. They had no fresh cream for coffee only hazelnut or vanilla non dairy. When asked for butter for waffles they gave us a dish of melted butter. I asked for a warmup for my coffee, the waitress went back to the kitchen and had to wait till she brought out a new cup of coffee instead of adding hot coffee from the pot to my cup.My husband later wanted more coffee and we had to wait till a new pot was brewed. There was no salt for his eggs which were hard and overcooked for over easy. I had the carrot cake waffle which was good but hard to cut with a knife and tasted more like ginger than carrot cake flavor. Our waitress was new and inexperienced so I give her credit for some of the weird service but altogether we did not enjoy our experiece and fel food was overpriced. However the restaurant was busy and others seemed to enjoy their meals.

  This place was amazing! Kyra was an awesome server and made sure to show us care and attention. Asia, the owner came to the table, introduced herself, and greeted us. She even offered us a new item (seafood pot pie) that hadn’t hit the menu yet. All of the food was very delicious! The pot pie and honey hot catfish nuggets were absolutely AMAZING!! 10/10 definitely recommend! I will for sure be back!🥰

  Had an expensive and disappointing experience. Wife ordered a drink that didn't come until near the end of the meal. I ordered a mango smoothie and was tried to get served a berry smoothie twice saying 'it has mango in it'. Also, ordered the chicken and carrot cake waffle and even after asking if they were whole wings and being told 'yes', was served drummettes. Then was told they were out of whole wings because of a delivery issue. Only to see another customer receive an order of whole wings. When I called the server over, she said "oh you saw that" and said she would check on it. Then another server came over and said the truck just came and delivered the whole wings so the other server was not lying 🙄.

  My husband, our kids, and I decided to try this brunch spot today. I’ve seen the Black-owned business for a while and was genuinely excited to finally support and give it a try as a family. Unfortunately, we didn’t even get the opportunity to experience the food because the customer service from the moment we walked in was extremely disappointing. When we entered, there was no one at the front to greet us. At first, I assumed everyone may have been busy, which I completely understand. However, after sitting there for about five minutes, not one person acknowledged us. No “Welcome in,” no “We’ll be right with you,” no explanation that there was a wait—nothing. What made it worse was seeing staff standing along the wall talking amongst themselves while we were clearly waiting to be helped. I even tried to signal a gentleman over just to ask whether there was a wait or if we needed to check in somewhere, and he completely ignored me. The issue was never having to wait. We would have had no problem waiting for a table. It was the complete lack of acknowledgment and basic customer service. It takes only a few seconds to greet customers and let them know someone will be with them shortly. We came in excited to support a Black-owned business and enjoy brunch together as a family, but unfortunately, the way we were treated upon arrival made us decide to leave. First impressions matter, and sadly, this one was very disappointing.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently moved to the area and decided to give Scrumdiddlyumptious a try, and when I tell you somebody’s GRANDMAMA is in that kitchen?! Because there is absolutely no other explanation! 😂🙌🏾 The peach cobbler French toast was RIDICULOUS — sweet, buttery, decadent and worth every calorie! 🍑🤤 The hot honey catfish bites were perfectly crispy with that sweet little kick, the biscuits and gravy tasted like pure Southern comfort, and that lobster & crab dip?! We almost needed a moment of silence. 😂🦞🦀 On top of the food being amazing, the service was wonderful and the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We came in hoping to find a good breakfast spot and left knowing we found OUR breakfast spot. Scrumdiddlyumptious… y’all will definitely be seeing us again! ❤️👏🏾
