I used to drive all the way to the Stone Mountain location, so I was really excited when a 7 Brew opened closer to me. I know they’ve only been open for about a month, but there’s definitely a need for better training and management with the staff.
Almost every time I go, there are a large number of employees standing around on their phones, making TikToks, while customers wait to have their orders taken. It often feels like no one wants to be there. Unfortunately, about 7 out of 10 times my drink order is wrong.
There have also been multiple occasions where the employee taking my order simply turned the iPad toward me and told me to select from my previous orders instead of helping me. Yet somehow, the iPad always gets turned back around asking for a tip, which feels frustrating considering the level of service.
I understand the company wants employees to make small talk while customers wait, but yesterday’s experience was especially awkward. I used a pass for a free drink, and the employee didn’t know how to process it. Another worker told her to “just put it on the cash drawer,” and she already seemed irritated. Then I overheard another employee tell her, “Talk to her,” referring to me. She shook her head no, and someone else stepped in to make conversation instead. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional.
I really like 7 Brew, which is why this is disappointing. Hopefully management can provide better training and support for the staff maybe even get some guidance from the Stone Mountain location, since they seem to run things much more smoothly.

First of all let me just say, I’m so happy this location opened. I previously drove to the Stone Mountain location… You guys have some work to do. There’s a lot going on here….
Employees every single time I have went have been gathered up in front of the building being non attentive and on their phones.
Why is the employee turning her tablet around showing me my previous drinks I’ve ordered and telling me to pick one?
While most employees seem they want to be there, you also have some employees that just act like they don’t want to be there and their attitude shows it.
At most other 7 brews the employees communicate with you, here it seems like that’s not the case. It’s very unprofessional to be standing on your phones and not providing the service that’s expected especially when you guys throw the tip option in our face everytime we order a drink.

Tried giving this 7Brew location another chance because it’s closer, but the experience was very unorganized and unprofessional. Workers were more focused on being on their phones than paying attention to customers. One worker even handed me my change back just to yell across to ask how much I wanted back instead of simply communicating professionally. Customer service and attentiveness definitely matter, especially in fast-paced environments like this. I’d much rather keep driving out to the Johns Creek location where the service feels more organized and customer-focused.
The service here is trash. There was 1 car waiting for a coffee, when we pulled in. Girl asked for my number and as i was telling her, she told me to pull up. So i did. And then never came back to take my order. I was sitting there for a minute or 2.. long enough for another car to pull up and tell me why someone was taking their order as SOON as they pulled up. Meanwhile I’m still waiting for someone to take mine?? What kind of service is that? You got about 7 people outside the front, laughing, talking..
Tried out the new 7 Brew location in Lawrenceville and I’m impressed. The energy was high, the line moved quickly, and the staff kept things friendly even with the crowd.
I ordered a medium light ice Blondie with all sugar-free options, and it did not disappoint. The flavor was smooth, not too sweet, and still had that rich coffee taste you want without feeling heavy. You can tell they know how to balance their drinks, even with modifications.
If you’re looking for a quick, well-made coffee with great service, this spot is worth the stop.
