Spent $30 for carry out and they wouldn't take a $100 bill and told me to go to Publix to cash it. Inflation like crazy and you can't break a hundred. Cancelled that order and will never be back. Just wild. Domino's and Pizza Hut glady take my $100 and cash. Y'all dumb in this economy.

This location doesn't even deserve one star. I placed a carryout order for a large pizza, and when I opened the box, there was a chewed-up, old piece of what appeared to be green pepper or celery inside the box. It looked like it had visible saliva and mold in the pizza box and on the chewed up item. I immediately brought it to the manager's attention. His response was, "Oh, we get them like that and tell the workers not to put them in the box." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. I asked him, "You mean to tell me one of the workers actually saw that disgusting old pepper and put it in there?" What happened next was even more unbelievable. Instead of apologizing, showing concern, or acknowledging the obvious food-safety issue, he said, "We can replace the pepper." Replace just the pepper?! I said no that's unacceptable! There was saliva and mold inside the pizza box with my food. At that point, the entire pizza was contaminated as far as I was concerned. This wasn't about replacing a pepper. Food that has been exposed to SALIVA and MOLD should not be served to a customer! When he proceeded to remake the pizza, he appeared angry and began slamming things on the counter while preparing my food. After witnessing his behavior, I no longer trusted him, especially as the manager, to prepare another pizza for me. I told him to cancel the order and that I would dispute the charge with my bank if necessary. I then asked one of the employees whether the tall, skinny guy was the manager. She responded, "Uh, we both are." I was shocked that a manager would handle a serious food-safety complaint with such poor customer service and absolutely no apology. This goes beyond bad customer service. This was a food-safety and sanitation issue. Georgia food-service regulations require food to be safe and unadulterated and contain requirements addressing contaminated food, including contamination involving oral discharges. Food that has become contaminated is not something you simply remove an item from and continue serving! The manager's own statement that they "get them like that" and tell employees not to put them in the box made the situation even more concerning!!! Based on both the food-safety issue and the manager's response, we will never order from this location again!

My family and I order from here somewhat frequently. We had their pizza last night and it was delicious as usual. We have always had speedy delivery from friendly delivery drivers. Rarely is something missing from our order and the one time that happened, this Papa John's made it right. The storefront is clean and in a nice location right off of Cobb Parkway.
