Unacceptable service. Good food.
Took 45 minutes to get a glass of wine. 1 hour to get bread. 1 hour 15 minutes to get the other bread they forgot the first time.
2 HOURS to get the kids pasta and another 15 minutes until the rest of the adult meals were served.
They prioritized online order vs dine in, and didnt communicate with us. A normal restaurant would at least communicate with us and get the kids fed first.

It takes a long time to bring the food, the service does not take the time to serve you well they forget about you, very disappointed I will not return.
We ordered a large pizza and two pastas which took more than an hour better we got up to leave, when we left they told us that if we wanted to take the food but it would take 15 minutes longer, it is a great lack of respect, I think they should work on their attention to customers or you attend for the appearance or race of the people

We stopped here today on a whim after leaving Walmart. We are from Chattanooga and saw the sign for pizza. We got the chicken Alfredo pizza, burratta, and tiramisu. Delicious!!!! Our waiter Lex knew everything about the menu and had such good suggestions! We will be back when we travel this way! Yummmmy!

We’ve been coming to Mangiamos for the past couple of years, and it has genuinely been one of our favorite Italian restaurants. We’ve celebrated multiple birthdays here and have always had a great experience, which is why tonight’s visit was so disappointing.
Something has clearly changed. The food, service, and overall experience were nowhere near the quality we’ve come to expect.
We were immediately told that several menu items were unavailable, including the chicken piccata I had planned to order. I ended up getting the lemon pasta with chicken and capers, and unfortunately, the chicken tasted terrible. I also ordered the lobster bisque as an appetizer, only to be told it was already sold out at 4:00 on a Sunday.
My boyfriend ordered the shrimp Alfredo, which has always been one of the dishes we’ve enjoyed here. In the past, we were told the pasta was made fresh by hand, but tonight it absolutely did not taste or have the quality of homemade pasta. The Alfredo sauce was also extremely watered down and lacked the thick, creamy, cheesy flavor it used to have.
We asked our waitress for additional shredded Parmesan/Romano because that’s what was already on the dish. We were told they “don’t do that” and were given grated Parmesan instead. Another waitress had no problem getting us the shredded cheese when we asked her, so we’re not really sure what the issue was.
None of these things individually would necessarily ruin a dinner, but when you combine the unavailable menu items, poor food quality, disappointing pasta and sauce, and lackluster service, it made for a very disappointing birthday dinner.
What makes this especially frustrating is that we know what Mangiamos used to be like. We’ve been coming here for years, and this was not the same restaurant we’ve enjoyed so many times before.
We really hope this was just a bad night and that the quality returns, because it’s sad to see a restaurant we used to love go downhill. But after tonight, we’ll definitely think twice before coming back.
I came to Mangiamos for dinner on a Saturday night...place was buy, I havent been there in a while and I was in the mood for my favorite meal Chicken Parmasian
I dont know how an Italian restaurant can complete mess up such an easy dish
First it was brought out in a bowl on top of spaghetti swimming in a watered down brown tomato sauce....Why is is BROWN...a tomato sauce (marinara) should be a vibrant red/orange rich tomato sauce...why is it served in a bowl? What happens when to something with breadcrumbs gets wet...it gets soggy...so now I have a soggy chicken parm dinner in a brown watered down sauce...
I ate, I left and I probably wont come back...I have never gotten 1 good meal from this place, last night after maybe about 1 year I tried this place again... and I dont think I can go back, for me it was a waste...I could have made a much better meal at home
From my experience they need to be taught how to make a better red sauce....and need someone to taste every dish before it goes out onto the floor...quality control is definitely lacking
