Had to get another gravy the first one was white water. I'm sure the chicken was left over from yesterday.Reheated, it was drier than dirt, but it did tasted ok. Coke & french fries were good & ice cream.

The little blonde girl at the register was the sweetest, most personable girl ever. I enjoyed the food! It was so fresh and so delicious. There was close to no wait time even though they were kind of busy.

This place was an absolute disaster from start to finish. My family and I walked in and immediately felt unwelcome—no greeting, just a bunch of employees who looked miserable and completely uninterested in doing their jobs. On top of that, none of them were wearing hair nets, which is honestly pretty gross and concerning. The restaurant itself was dirty, like no one had bothered to clean it in a while. And the food? Somehow even worse. It came out cold and tasted terrible, like it had been sitting around forever. We will definitely never be coming back here, and I would strongly recommend that anyone thinking about eating here go somewhere—anywhere—else.

The food was fine, though one of my sons did not get the correct burger and he did not get the fries we ordered. The restaurant was clean and most of the workers were hard at it. The one working the register was clueless and slow. When I asked for sauce to go with my other son's chicken finger basket, he said it was an extra charge. I told him fine, I still wanted it. He said it was in the back of the store. It was clear he had no intent to get any sauce and we had already been waiting about 30 minutes for our order. The lobby was packed with people waiting for their orders. While we were waiting, my wife struck up a conversation with another couple who said they come to Jeckyll Island yearly, and Dairy Queen is typically this overcrowded because it is consistently understaffed. This is a persistent problem, so expect to wait a long time for your food and be prepared to get the wrong order. Can't blame the workers when they are running their tales off (except for Buford up front). Since there is no other fast food available on the island, Dairy Queen has no other competition and no motivation to increase staffing. In case the responses to these reviews are not AI generated - Dairy Queen, don't bother saying you are sorry and ask if I want to share more. The owner of that restaurant is not sorry as he or she is raking in the bucks saving money on payroll. If anyone out there has a little cash to invest in a fast food place on the island, you'll make a killing. And...that's the only way this Dairy Queen will improve its service.
