  Oh my word! Soooo good on all fronts!! The food is amazing! I love the atmosphere. And the family who owns and runs it are wonderful! So welcoming, warm and personable. Wish I lived closer because I would drive an hour+ for their oxtail beignets!! Literally cannot say enough nice things about this establishment!!

  Still thinking about their Berbere chicken... it was so good! Sad that they moved from the Krog street location, but it's 100% worth the drive to get your fill of fresh beignets!

  The food is always amazing. I've tried 4 of the savory beignets so far and the Berbere Chicken is always the best. It's even better than the Oxtail Beignet. The portions are full for a 7 dollar Beignet and the taste is outstanding.

  Very welcoming and friendly staff as well as a cozy atmosphere. We tried the Ethiopian Fire chicken, Oxtail, and classic beignets as well as a latte. The stuffed beignets reminded me of Hispanic empanadas and had great flavor. I originally went for the Ackee and saltfish beignets but was informed that they are only available wed-fri. I’ll return to give it a try!

  Stopped by while staying near the airport for beignets and coffee. The beignets were superb--every bit as good as what you get in Louisiana. The coffee (regular cup of Ethiopian coffee, not the full ceremony) was even better. I'm not a connoisseur of coffee, so take this with a grain of salt, but I've never had coffee that tasted like this. Honestly I can't even tell if they might have added some cinnamon or something during roasting/brewing, or if the beans just taste this outrageously good. The atmosphere was cozy and very friendly, and the only wait was the time it took to cook the beignets to order. This was right at opening on a Sunday--I sincerely hope the place is packed at other hours.
