  Toaste in Augusta, GA was such a great brunch spot! The vibe was absolutely perfect—warm, welcoming, and the kind of place that makes you want to sit back, relax, and enjoy every bite. The food was full of flavor and definitely did not disappoint. The over-the-top omelette was amazing, and the grits were seasoned just right and so delicious. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and made with care. What made the experience even better was our server, James. He made us feel like family from the moment we sat down. His service was attentive, friendly, and truly top tier. It’s always a plus when great food is paired with great hospitality, and James definitely added to the experience. We will absolutely be back to dine again!

  Visited this restaurant back in April and forgot to leave a review… food and mimosas were excellent. Hostess had a very nasty attitude and was not friendly at all. Our server was much friendlier and made the situation more comfortable, but I am giving 4 stars because the hostess should honestly be the friendliest and most welcoming member of your staff… If you can’t smile and be friendly to ALL customers, go find something else to do for a living. Truly felt like the vibes were off because we were two white women, and definitely noticed a whole different tone with several customers who came in after us… Overall, we enjoyed our visit and tried not to let one bad apple ruin the experience. Will likely visit again, but with hopes of a much more welcoming attitude at the door.

  We were really excited to have brunch at toaste, we’ve been trying for weeks with no luck getting anyone on the phone or an idea of the reservations or availability. The menu was extremely limited. I’ve never been to a restaurant where you cannot modify or sub. People have dietary restrictions. My family does not eat pork, and it’s custom to have substitution options for this reason. I respect the chefs craft, the menu online looked appetizing enough to want to try it, but there should be some mutual understanding for patrons preferences and needs. Will not be returning.

  Always excellent food and exceptional customer service! During my visit, there was an unexpected emergency, and the staff handled the situation with professionalism and care. Everyone, including the owner, was attentive, responsive, and genuinely concerned for the well-being of those involved. Their dedication to both their customers and the overall dining experience was truly impressive. Special shout out to my server, D’Syah and also, Tray!! They are awesome!!! Despite the circumstances, the food was outstanding, and the level of hospitality exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

  Lackluster. This place was horrible. I got the dirty grits, and let me just say this the food was “dirty” in a bad way. There was hair all in my food. And when I walked to the bathroom (disgusting btw) I peaked inside the kitchen and it was a mess. There were grocery bags on the floor, the chef was not using gloves and touching the food with his bare hands, and there was a trash can that was overflowing that was touching frozen meat on the table. The building is already very small and cramped but what didn’t make things better was the fact that my husband and our two young kids could hear the chef screaming and cussing from across the tiny building. All the mimosas were frozen in a machine where they were premade. The mimosa had almost a sour taste as if it had been sitting in the machine molding for a while. I would give this place one star but I’m giving them two because I felt bad for our server and the staff who were clearly being verbally abused by the owner. For the prices to be what they are the food, cleanliness, and experience should be much better. I will be telling everyone I know to stay clear of Toaste and if you want to get brunch you’re better off eating at Arbys because at least their restaurants are somewhat clean.
