Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- DSDoc ScottJun 21, 20265.0Thursday afternoon I visited the restaurant and the lady whom worked there, I believe her name is Missy if I recall correctly, did her job above and beyond expectations which really made the overall experience a joy during a busy day. My granddaughter felt special that day when she would usually be intimated around other people in a busy crowded place. However Missy made her feel like she was the most important person in the world at that moment and now she insist upon our return to visit not only the chain restaurant, but that exact location. Great job! If you're passing through Griffin and want a good meal, I suggest stopping by and eating there. It's worth the visit and the food was very well prepared also. My compliments to all.

SERVICE IS VERY SLOW FOR THE MONEY SPENT... 20 MINUTES AFTER BEING PULLED UP. THE PATTY MELT IS ON RUBBER BREAD. MADE WITH VERY DRY BEEF PATTIES. CHICKEN STRIPS VERY TOUGH. THE APPLE PIES (AND REASON FOR THE WAIT) WAS GOOD HOWEVER FOR THE SIZE, OVER PRICED. AS A PAYING CUSTOMER THAT IS WILLING TO PAY FOR A DECENT LUNCH, BEING PARKED IS UNACCEPTABLE. HIGH PRICE = GREAT FOOD, PROPER PORTIONS AND FOOD SERVED FAST ( THUS THE IDEA BEHIND A DRIVE THRU). WE ARE PAYING FOR GOOD FOOD SERVED FAST. THIS IS NOT WHAT YOU GET AT WHATABURGER. A 12-15 DOLLAR BURGER WHEN ITS SUBPAR FOOD AND WAIT TIME IS COMPARABLE WITH A SIT DOWN RESTAURANT. TRUTHFULLY, NOTHING ABOUT THE BUSINESS CAN TESTIFY FOR THE HIGH PRICES.
