  We rented Amici at Lake Oconee on a Sunday to host a baby shower for our daughter, and it was the perfect venue for our event. The space comfortably accommodated our 30+ guests and created a wonderful atmosphere for celebrating with family and friends. A special thank you to Laurie, the manager, who was absolutely amazing throughout the process. She went above and beyond, even coming in early to help us get everything set up. Her kindness, professionalism, and willingness to help made the day run smoothly and stress-free. Before our event, my husband and I stopped by earlier in the week to check out the venue and enjoy a meal. Everything was outstanding. We shared a large pizza, half Summer in Turin and half Beef Eater, and they were happy to accommodate my request for a softer-cooked crust—it was absolutely delicious. The wings were perfectly cooked as well. I had the Honey Hot wings, and my husband had the BBQ Teriyaki wings. We also enjoyed the House Salad with ranch dressing and the BLT Wedge, both of which were fresh and excellent. The food quality was outstanding, the portions were generous, and everything was served at the perfect temperature. Our server, Maddie, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and a pleasure to interact with. For the baby shower, we also ordered wings from the Amici location in Madison, and they were a huge hit with our guests. Everything came together beautifully. From the food and service to the event space itself, our experiences with Amici have been exceptional. If you’re looking for a place to host a private gathering, celebration, or special event, I highly recommend Amici at Lake Oconee for both dining and special events. Thank you to Laurie, Maddie, and the entire Amici team for helping make our daughter’s baby shower such a special and memorable day! It was the perfect spot for bringing family and friends together, and we couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. ❤️

  Well... service was sub par at best. We seated fairly quickly but thats when it took a turn. I ordered a old fashioned and a water with my meal. The spouse ordered tea which came very prompt. I on the other hand got my drink as the meal was served. Nevermind the fact we never got our appetizer that should have came with my old fashioned. The food was served my spouse's Alfredo was delicious, I ordered the cobb salad and it looked great but at first bite I had a very long black hair attached. 🤢🤮 it turned my stomach. So not only did we have late drinks and a missing appetizer I had tainted food. Yet I will say service was great the waitress comped the meal and we paid for the drinks. Will I recommend this establishment? Yes I would, mistakes happen and tonight was just that. I do not place blame on anyone we had contact with they were very professional and very caring abput the situation. I am upset I didnt get my salad as I was hungry and it looked delicious 😋 maybe next time we will have better luck !
