Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    Food was OK. Service was awesome! The best thing on the menu in my opinion, was the milkshake! I'll go back just for the shakes!

    This specific store will cancel orders made on their app and claim they don’t have the ability to when asked about it. Don’t expect help from their store manager or the official customer support line. They actively refused to remake the order or offer a refund even after the charge went through. If this is a representation of Texas they can GTFO out of Georgia and go back.

    I’ve been to this location three times now, so this isn’t based on just one visit. Two of those times, the wait was longer than I thought it should’ve been, although the food was still good both times. This last visit was the opposite. I pulled in around 3 a.m. after about 12 hours on the road coming back from Montana, and they got me through quickly. The food was hot, fresh, and exactly what I needed after that kind of drive. At that hour, your choices are basically Whataburger, Waffle House, or questioning every decision that brought you to a parking lot at 3 in the morning. So I’m glad this place is open late. The food has been consistently good. Service speed has been a little inconsistent, but this most recent visit was solid.
