This is NOT a complaint about Chick-fil-A as a company—we’ve been loyal customers for decades, going back to the Dwarf House days. My wife purchased a Southwest salad, got home and said the chicken tasted strange, and the salad was also missing the egg she expected. I returned the practically untouched salad and even provided proof of purchase after being asked for the receipt. Michael, who appeared to be acting as a manager/team lead, refused to replace the salad—even after I offered to PAY for the egg. I wasn’t asking for a “free salad.” I brought the original product back because there was a concern with the food. As someone in the hospitality industry, this was simply poor judgment and poor customer service. Sometimes management has to know how to make a reasonable decision and take care of a customer. This isn’t about a $10 salad. It’s about how a longtime, loyal customer was treated. I hope Operator Doug Barrett sees this and addresses it, because this experience did NOT represent the Chick-fil-A customer service we’ve known for years.

I was missing 2 orders of fries which yes I should have checked before I left but after working ALL day I was a little tired and trusted them to get the order right. So I left my sad child at home using my gas unnecessarily and taking away time with my family. All I asked for was maybe if they could upsize the fries to make up for this. I was told no. Ok that’s your decision. Then I’m received only one of my missing fries. I had to then demand my other fries that I PAID for and did not receive. So he did not even look at or hear the issue that I was saying. This is the manager I’m referring to. He could not even look me in the eyes to tell me himself. The young man passing orders out I do not blame one bit. Not even if it was his fault to begin I understand that mistakes happen. I spend a lot amount of money here for my family and I ($1,000s of dollars annually) and honestly because of the selfish nature of the corporate world. A couple handfuls of french fries are apparently worth thousands of dollars to this “new and approved” Chick-fil-A. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of one is because there has been other times that another manager has been extremely kind and above and beyond. If this guy here keeps running or managing then I feel that he goes against what chick fil a was. Which is maybe what they want. Who knows.
