  It was a nice, clean restaurant with a unique Hawaiian-themed atmosphere. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. I also recommend stepping outside to relax by the beautiful small waterfall and garden area located right behind the restaurant. It’s a peaceful spot to enjoy your meal and unwind.

  Stopped thru to grab some food and my car overheated , Joey was so helpful I was so embarrassed but he made me feel like it wasn’t a big deal and tried to help me figure out what to do … he was so helpful ! I definitely felt like it was all gonna be ok , Joey deserves some recognition !

  Worst service ever. We drove all the way from Hilton head and we’re one minute before the dining room closes and you would think because we made such a trip to this specific restaurant and hit traffic that they could see us out of great customer service instead they turned us away, sent us through the drive-through where there is no menu that we can see of this supposed specialty food and we’re given zero guidance on what to order so we get a crappy Chick-fil-A sandwich instead of the experience that I drove this entire way for. So very disappointing.

  Go for the experience! Keep in mind, it IS a fast food resturant. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and appreciated how clean it was, including the bathrooms. We went to the resturant style side, we were greeted and seated promptly. We ordered the big kahuna (loaded waffle fries) which were VERY good, the sauce and queso mixed together really added a delicious touch. I ordered the Tropical nuggets, which were just regular chik fil a nuggets tossed in a sweet, tangy sauce and the sweet potatoe fries. I would definitley order that again, especially the sweet potatie fries. I think my husband enjoyed my dish more than his own (and he ordered two different entrees). He ordered the truetts luau burger. He said it was very dry, not much flavor and in his opinion not worth it. His 2nd entree was the Pineapple chicken Tacos, also dry and the Pineapples were hard. I ordered the Frozen Hawaiian and that was good too! Almost tasted like a fruity vanilla, I would order that again as well. All in all it was a good experience to try while we were out here in GA. I would reccomend it to others!

  Why I wont go back… We dined at Truett’s multiple times per week until Covid. I brought my kids avery weekend for breakfast and I would spend an hour or so dining and working on mu laptop there a couple of days a week. After Covid we were met with long wait times and a refusal to let me use the power outlet. Our times visiting Truetts dwindled. Ever since then it has become an overly expensive chore to dine there with marginal meals. - Wait times for no legitimate reason. - Refusal to substitue chicken for pork even if we paid an up charge (the restaurant focuses on chicken btw) - Poorly prepared meals - Putting cane syrup in drinks when I asked multiple times for no sugar. Denial afterwards. Last meal there: - Me and my son - 2 pancakes (cooked to a crisp), couldnt have chicken instead of bacon - No low calorie syrup option - Skillet <6” inadequate portion for my 9yo. No option for chicken instead of bacon - Lemonade - Iced Coffee - Came with a pool of sugar at the bottom, despite asking for no sugar before and confirming after receipt - Bill $36 including tip I am done. I just cant see spending this much money for this type of food and service again.
