When we walked in the front door it appeared to only be a sit down restaurant, so we waited and got table service. Later, after using the restroom we realized we could have walked to the other side and ordered fast food, which would have been much more preferred. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. For being in the area where Chick Fil A began, I would have assumed an emphasis on quality but it was quite the opposite. My nuggets were burnt and I had to remind our waiter I ordered tropical so he just brought the sauce on the side. The upcharge for sweet potato fries on a kids meal was $2.40! My daughter ordered the Kalua pork and there was barely any meat on the sandwich. The waiter argued (she ordered the slaw on the side) saying that the sandwich would look bigger if the slaw was on it. So it’s supposed to be 90% slaw and 10% meat?! He did end up bringing extra meat out. We also had the burger with pork on it, which was mediocre. The patty tasted like a basic frozen burger. Our bill was $50 not including tip for 3 people (including one being a kids meal).

I couldn't get on the waiting list to dine at the restaurant. The hostess kept ignoring me and was super polite to everyone else. I finally just stood right in front of her and said excuse me. She asked if I was waiting for someone. I told her no. She walked away to go wrap silverware. I asked another employee for a menu, sat down and listened to the same older woman who ignored me being so polite and asking everyone walking in the door if they wanted to be on the wait-list. I then went to the Chick-fil-A side since for whatever reason I am not allowed to be seated in the sit down side of the restaurant. The young gentleman cashier was polite he answered my questions about the menu. I asked if I wasn't allowed to join the waiting list because I am by myself. A female employee said yeah they are probably busy. The polite cashier asked the female employee making my drink to take over for him. That employee held my drink out and I asked if she could sit it down as I was trying to get my card and receipt into my wallet. She put it down in front of her to where I couldn't reach it, turned around and walked off. I then just asked to be refunded as obviously this Chick-fil-A doesn't follow the friendliness standards of any other Chick-fil-A and I do not spend my money where people are rude. The outside area is pretty but, the waterfall water is green and smells bad. Definitely will not come back and I don't recommend making this place a stop on your road trip. Very disappointing as I was expecting some good Hawaiian food.
