  So glad we stopped in for breakfast! Service was excellent and we got to chat with the owner for a bit about her amazing Vietnamese coffee! Will be back soon. ❤️

  The food was just ok, got the philly cheesesteak and it was mostly bread and mushrooms the fries on both orders were cold, and one order at our table was wrong. It did take a while for them to take our order and for us to get the food. The waitress was friendly and did keep a check on us after the food arrived. The atmosphere was not enjoyable either.

  Very cute, quaint little spot to snag a delicious breakfast. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had bacon, eggs, pancakes, coffee and cinnamon rolls. It was all delicious, fresh and a great price. We will definitely visit again.

  Overall, the experience ended up being good thanks to a solid service recovery by the staff, but there was definitely some frustration upfront that could have been avoided with better communication. Before coming in on a Saturday, I checked the restaurant’s website and saw they do not offer online ordering. That’s completely understandable for a smaller local business. Sometimes it’s easier operationally to focus on in-person service. However, after spending 15–20 minutes trying to find parking in downtown Ellijay, I walked in and was told they do not do any to-go orders on weekends. That information was not posted anywhere on the website or online that I could find. The restaurant also wasn’t particularly busy at the time. I explained to the staff that it was frustrating to spend that much time parking only to be turned away while trying to support a local business. I told them I would just go somewhere else. To their credit, the staff immediately stopped me, apologized, spoke with the kitchen, and accommodated the order anyway. That recovery honestly made a big difference and showed they cared about customer service. The food itself was good, and after the recovery the service was as well. My biggest feedback would simply be better communication and signage online regarding the no to-go orders policy on weekends. From a customer perspective, it feels a little confusing because it doesn’t seem much different than dining in and later asking for a to-go box. I’d still come back, but clearer expectations upfront would have made the experience much smoother.
