Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Whataburger is special for me because I would often sneak over there as a middle schooler in Phoenix (with cash from my paper route) and grab a hamburger that was otherwise disallowed in our family. It was also the first fast food place I remember making jalapeno peppers available as a condiment.
This is the first time I have seen Whataburger in Georgia so I was very pleased to stop in when I drove through town. It was worth the visit and I look forward to Whataburger expanding further in this Georgia "hinterland."

I went there Friday morning and it was pretty chaotic came back this afternoon completely different fast friendly food was great. I even had someone come check on me at my table and offer me more napkins and ketchup. They took my tray when I was done. Not sure what y’all did different between Friday and Sunday but keep that same energy.

It was empty when we got there ordered waited 18 mins for a plain cheese burger and a jr meal by the way, we went through drive-through so after 18 minutes, I went inside to get our food was completely ignored. Waited even longer was offered a brownie or drink or something told her no, you can just throw in an extra fry. They finally gave us our food. Needless to say of course it wasn’t right didn’t even get my extra fry. Needless to say will never go back

The people on the night shift were mean rude messed up our orders and just really didn't care at all. We tried to do the Uber eats but it was taking forever and we already paid for our meals then we decided to go up there since no one brought our food to the house like they usually do and before and they also as soon as we stepped through the door of water burgers they cancelled our order and we had already paid for and we had to re order our food .

Husband has never had it but we were traveling and he saw it. Nothing fancy just a classic and delicious cheeseburger he says and a cross between Sonic and Hamburger Express. He and his belly are happy with the choices he has made. Restaurant was clean and the workers were nice.
