Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Let me say I pulled up to door and a tall man with braids was eating chicken with gloves on right in front of me by cash register. 🤮 I asked for FRESH wings and breakfast burger. I even told them I would wait. They told me to pull up in VIP parking and I only waited no even 3 mins I use to work for Wataburger so I know it take over 5 minutes for chicken to cook. The chicken wasn’t fresh it was chewie and the chicken on breakfast was dry. I see why they don’t have customers. Please don’t go to this location

Got to the window, waited, then finally asked to pull up and they would bring the order to me. Waited and waited. Called to make sure they didn't forget me. They apologized, said the sausage was still cooking and they would give me an apple pie. I said no thank you, I don't eat apple pie. Finally got my order. Again they apologized, gave me free hash browns, a free shake coupon and a 76 cent big ranch wrap coupon. Neither requires another food purchase, but you know I'll get something else. The wait time was worth it. The taquito was a nice size and delicious. I'll have the other taquito for breakfast tomorrow. Thank you for taking ownership of the service slip.
