  We were visiting Duluth to attend an event at Gas South arena and stopped here as it was close to our hotel. When ordering my wife clarified part of an adjustment to my hamburger only to be told "the screen won't reflect that the burger just comes that way" (I asked for only mayo mustard and ketchup and they did not adjust when my wife mentioned mustard not displaying on the screen.) When we got to our hotel I checked the burger, and unsurprisingly there was no mustard. It took 3 seperate people to tell us we couldn't use our balance loaded to the app to pay, despite having been able to do so at other locations. While the third person lecturing us about that "not being how the rewards work" (we were trying to use money we loaded from our debit card to clarify) He knocked over my sprite dumping it all over the counter, then handed me a different cup containing water as well as a soaking wet straw. I had to ask for a clean straw. Mistakes like failing to add mustard to a hamburger or handing out water instead of Sprite are understandable mistakes,but being rude and condescending only to then get the order wrong is unacceptable. Whataburger is normally our go to when traveling because the food and service are so top notch, it's disappointing to have such a poor experience at this particular location.

  I'm not sure what happened with this location. However today will be my last time visiting. Let me start with the positive. The employees are always super nice. The issue is food or drink related. The previous 2 times the soda machine was spent so the drink tasted like seltzer water. This time I order a single burger with cheese, no onions, no lettuce, and extra pickles. I open the wrapper when I get home and say this burgers smells like onions. Open the burger and I was right. Ive wasted money because now I can't eat it. Very disappointed. For anyone else check your order before you pull off.

  Last Friday, I was in the area and we decided to order later in the evening some food. There was a bit of a wait but there were people ordering inside and in the drive thru. The staff was working very hard to make sure everyone’s order is correct. The wait was totally worth it, the burgers were delicious and the drinks were on point. I came back today and ordered food while I waited to take care of some calls. I enjoyed my food and did not feel rushed. The staff was friendly!! The shift manager greeted me with a smile and was a pleasure to speak with. Today I met Emmanuel, the manager and now I understand why this place stood out. He is such a wonderful person and I see why the employees here seem to enjoy their work. He treats him team and customers well!!! I am coming back again because the place feels good!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

  This was by far one of the worse experiences I've had at a fast food restaurant..i was at the drive-thru last night trying to order and waited almost an hour to order food. Then when I actually ordered my food they had me waiting at the drive-thru window for 15 minutes to tell me can I pull up and wait at a parking spot which was another 20 minute wait.Then they gave me my food a chicken sandwich which was burnt..so I go inside the store to complain and there excuse was that they're short staffed and also they told me they haven't changed the grease so all the fried food is coming out like that...I asked for chicken tenders instead of the chicken sandwich sweet and spicy and they gave me what they wanted me to have Buffalo wings..then I explained to them that's not what I wanted and they gave me what I asked for with an extra 10 minute wait with an addittude. I was so turn off from the food and service i didn't even eat it..i refuse to come back to this location..I should've went two doors down to Popeyes. Never Again!!!

  After 2:30 AM, and this is the service you provide to your customers? I’ll never spend another dime at this location. I placed a simple order: a medium fry no salt and a medium drink. My drink was not filled properly, so I politely asked if my drink could be filled as it should be. Then I received my fries, and the “medium” portion was basically a small serving placed in a medium fry cup. I pulled back into the drive-thru to let the young lady know, and she says, “Why they do you like that?” RIGHT! My exact thought! Why would you do any customer like that? Then I was given another fry that was filled with grease, with salt all over the inside of the cup and all over the fries. Like, WTH?! I turned around at the next exit because I was beyond frustrated. I am overly sick of these fast-food locations not caring about the money customers spend or the quality of service they provide. Customers are spending their hard-earned money, and that money helps keep these businesses running and employees paid. The least we should receive is the food and service we actually paid for. This was unacceptable, and I will not be returning to this location. It’s not Whataburger it’s the ppl they hire & running it.
