Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
How is this burger chain still even in business? This is the second time trying to get one burger at a Georgia location. The first time at a Marietta one, we waited for an hour to get two burgers - there were maybe 2 other customers in there. Visited the Duluth location hoping they would give a better experience. The parking lot was fairly empty and there were two cars in the drive thru. Placed my order quickly then after 20 minutes, the same two cars were still waiting on their food. I couldn’t escape the line due to the plastic posts and chain separating multiple drive thru lanes. I have no idea how multiple rows of cars could be handled if three cars had to wait this long. At the 35 minute mark I was able to get close to the window. At this point the line behind me was about 6 more cars, many of them honking and yelling. I had enough of my evening eaten up by sitting in the drive thru waiting for one burger, one fry, one drink. What could possibly be so special or time consuming about the prep of this food? I pulled out of the line and drove off. I really wanted to give this place another shot, thinking the first bad experience I had was an anomaly. No, I think this company could care less and that it takes as long as it takes. I feel bad for the people in front of me who had already paid for their food and still had to wait longer. It sucks that I felt compelled to post a review here, but I’ve been to busy sit down restaurants and gotten in and out in less than 30 min. Please stop opening Whataburger joints.

Soy cliente frecuente de este lugar, delicioso pero la atencion, estan mas preocupados por ser rapidos que atentos, porque realmente son rapidos! Pero si no pides salsa no te dan, si pides para llevar revisa, casi nunca sale popotes o servilletas

I was dashing, and I have never tried any whataburger before and let me tell you their customer service was so tier I will absolutely be trying this place. I wish I knew their names and I will be back to find out. Everyone I interacted with was so kind even as busy as they were. Update to follow.

Waited about 20 minutes for a burger meal and two sausage, egg, and cheese taquitos after a 12-hour softball tournament, so my expectations were pretty simple: hot, fresh, and edible. Somehow, that didn’t happen.
The taquito was dry and half burnt, the fries were cold and soggy, and the burger was a complete miss. The bottom bun was so hard it had to be thrown away, and the burger itself was so cold the cheese didn’t even melt—which really says everything.
I grew up loving Whataburger, so this was extra disappointing. It felt like everything had been sitting out way too long before it made it to me.
Only thing that showed up and did its job? The Dr Pepper.
After a long day, this was the last thing I expected. Hoping this location can get it together, because this wasn’t it.
