Just Brunch was AMAZING! Did I say amazing? Because it truly was.
I had just landed from New Jersey, was tired, jet-lagged, and extremely hungry. I asked artificial intelligence to recommend something delicious near my hotel, and it sent me here. I’m very glad it did!
I ordered the Seafood Lovers Omelet with shrimp and lobster, a side salad, and a biscuit. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. The seafood and eggs gave me approximately 50 grams of protein, and the portion was exactly right. This is gourmet-style brunch, so don’t expect an enormous diner plate—but expect high-quality, memorable food.
The biscuit was definitely outside my usual macros, so I only ate about a quarter of it—but oh, my Lord, as they say here in the South! The Cajun sauce served with it was absolutely incredible, and the jam was fantastic too. Even the salad was delicious.
I also ordered the freshly made pineapple, ginger, and mint lemonade, and it was out of this world—refreshing, flavorful, and worth every penny.
My bill was $38.16 before tip, and I gladly left Briana a 22% tip because she deserved it. Yes, spending close to $50 on brunch may sound expensive to some people. But I could have spent $20 at Panera for an ordinary meal, and I would much rather spend more and have an unforgettable one.
This may not be the cheapest or lightest breakfast in Duluth, but it is absolutely one of the tastiest. If you’re visiting Duluth for work, staying nearby, or simply looking for an exceptional brunch, do not miss this place. I would absolutely return!
Great tasting food, so-so portion size (for the price). What will keep me from going back was really poor service. Slow everything . After (finally) placing our orders, the server came back few minutes later said my meal (oxtail grits) would be at least 30 minutes and would I like to wait or order something else. We were not in a hurry, so I said “no problem, just time my wife’s meal (shrimp and grits) to come at the same time. Sure enough.. 5 minute later they brought my wife’s meal by itself. I waited the 25 minute more for mine to arrive.
Also … they sneak the tip into the bill apparently (20%) and do not make it immediately apparent. I tipped 20% more because I didn’t pay attention (shame on me). This is unacceptable to include tip without making it PLAINLY obvious. NOR remind them that tip was included when you add what is an additional tip.

Had a great experience. The customer service was excellent, the ambiance was relaxing & cute, and of course the food was great! Ryan was our server and he was very nice, made good menu recommendations, and was attentive to our requests. I would definitely recommend and will be back. Thanks Ryan and Just Brunch staff!

Firstly we got there and were told there would be a 20 minute wait which was fine. Then had to wait an extra 20 minutes after that. The hostess was rude and had an attitude anytime she had to do anything. After we finally got seated we had to wait another 15 to 20 minutes to get water. Ordered the chicken and waffles. There was zero seasoning on any of the food prepared. We then had to get up from our table in order to pay for our bill. And to top it all off the floor was disgustingly greasy. Seemed like they haven’t cleaned the floor in months. I have never had such horrendous service at any other restaurant in my life. Disgusting food and horrible service. This place should be closed if this is how they operate. I went on Monday August 31st maybe the owner can talk to those specific employees and correct some of these things.
Just Brunch was easily one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences I've had in a long time. When I arrived, roughly 35% of the dining tables were empty and nearly 40% of the bar seating was sitting unused, yet I was told the wait would be 1 hour and 15 minutes. I didn't have a reservation, but there were only a handful of people ahead of me, making the wait completely unreasonable.
Once seated at the bar, things only got worse. The bartender and several employees came across as if they didn't want to be there. Customer service was practically nonexistent. I ordered chicken wings and they were so disappointing that I didn't even eat a single wing. What made it even more frustrating was that the bartender never once asked how my food was or whether everything was satisfactory. Instead, he repeatedly tried to upsell me on other items and drinks.
A restaurant can survive mediocre food if the service is exceptional, but when both are poor, there's no reason to come back. Empty tables, long waits, indifferent staff, and terrible food made this one of the worst
dining experiences I've had
