The young white teenager girl at the counter was extremely rude and acted like taking my order was a burden. When I got home and opened the burger, it was literally just bun, one patty, and another bun — no sauce, no toppings, nothing else. Mistakes happen, but the attitude and lack of care made the experience even worse. For the price Five Guys charges, this was unacceptable.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.
