    I love me some Tropical Cafe... however, when we came in they didnt even acknowledge our presence, no one acknowledged is until they handed our food to someone else and they left. And then we asked if we been helped. Outside of that our food was recovered and it was good. Thank you.

    Saturday, Oct 3, 2026: Everything was good but the girl at the register. She just looked like she didn’t want to be there. The energy she had, just sucked the life out my day. I’ll be back. But, please do better.

    I came to this location around 8/8:30pm & ordered a smoothie and a chicken pesto flatbread with sweet potatoes. I paid an up charge for the potatoes which was fine. As I’m eating my flatbread, the chicken & cheese were cold but I had already made it home and didn’t feel like coming back out. However, when I started to eat the potatoes, they tasted odd. I tried to continue eating them but I knew something was wrong. When I looked at the lid I noticed that it said the potatoes had been prepared on September 6th with a best by date of the 9th. By this time, I knew the location was closing soon but I just wanted to resolve the issue so I rushed over and made it to the location around 8:50/8:55 and the doors were locked. A young lady came and opened the door and took the potatoes took the back after I explained the situation. I’m not sure if the next lady was leadership, however they basically brought me the potatoes back and said this was all they had prepped. I asked them did they want me to keep the old potatoes. The Second Lady starts smacking her teeth and goes back to grab another container of potatoes, takes the sticker off and proceeds to prepare them for me. I told her I didn’t want them because they could also be spoiled. She continues smacking her teeth and screaming “oh my gosh!” and grabs another set of potatoes, brings them to me and shows me the date. I said okay those are good, and she proceeds to give me the potatoes that she had previously removed the sticker from. I told her I wanted the fresh ones that I could see the sticker on. She continued screaming “oh my gosh” and smacking her teeth & with all the attitude & poor customer service, I truly couldn’t bring myself to take the potatoes because I believe she was bothered to fix my issues that she would have spit in my food. I ended up leaving and said that I’d handle it tomorrow, but honestly, I don’t think I’ll be back. I paid extra for a side and ended up not getting any side at all. I hope that young lady was 16 and in high school with her first customer service job because I’d be concerned if that was the woman in charge of the night shift crew.

    I went to Tropical Smoothie Cafe recently on a Sunday morning because I wanted a smoothie before going to a baseball tournament. The $5 24 oz smoothie promo was a great surprise when I came in. I ended up ordering a few Mango Monsoons for the family. I also ordered one Southwest breakfast wrap with chicken (they also have one with sausage) and it was flavorful and packed with veggies. The staff was customer service centric. Dixie was so friendly and patient! She did a good job explaining about the perks of their mobile app and receipt offerings to me and each customer that made a purchase. Once my order was ready, Lucas was so helpful and helped me take the order to my car because I had my hands full. The overall value for what I received and the customer service was great and I will definitely be back. The Mango Monsoon smoothie was delicious and perfect for a hot sunny day.

    I'll change my rating when someone reaches out to me on the number i left to be contacted on. No manager was available with no expected eta. No email or contact number could be provided to address my concern which has now become a complaint. Something simple has unfortunately exposed "how the sausage is made" at this particular location. I've been frequenting tropical smoothies state to state since they've been in the South for years, never had one poor customer service experience before now. Mr owner operator, i will wait for your call. Until then the rating will stand and I will use an alternate location to spend my hard earned dollars. After reading other reviews of this location it's safe to say this wasn't a one off. Even the reviews with higher ratings have customer service complaints. Honestly this staff is too young to operate without proper supervision. A manager needs to be available to field concerns in quality, speed, and customer service. All 3 categories were sub par for me today. I've been to this location a few times without incident, but my girls in Kennesaw know how to make a fast and tasty smoothie with a smile and i always tip for great service. I'm not a complainer and I rarely leave a review unless it's positive, but this interaction rubbed me the the wrong way and I'm just not up for being given attitude by people half my age, when I'm being patient, understanding and polite. Once i asked for contact information the professionalism seemed to return. I will give the young lady credit because regardless of her motivation, she tried to fulfill my request for a customer service number and explain to me from her point of view, the policy she feared "losing her job" over that prevented her from providing a well received experience from myself. However the light skinned one who stated she too was a shift lead, couldn't help but to roll her eyes with bad body language, and cut in only to be unhelpful. I am not hear to tell anyone how to run their business, but lack of customer retention will. If u don't see a problem, i don't either. Good Day
