- ASAddison Shealy2 days ago1.0I have tried so hard not right negative review about this place but I just can’t help to do it now. I’m from South Carolina and the Bojangles. There are 10 times better and both Food and get your order right. Is Bojangles and Dawsonville is decent for breakfast but anything other than that it pretty much sucks, they always screw up your food order if it’s leaving sauces out or putting white gravy on mashed potatoes because they’re too lazy to make brown gravy. Awful Bojangles and Bojangles is a whole should do something about their Georgia brand because all these Bojangles in Georgia suck just as bad.

And the manager—the guy who has worked there for years—is ALWAYS so nice and cheerful. You can tell he truly enjoys his job, and honestly, that’s one of the reasons I love going there. 🥰 But unfortunately, I don’t know if I’ll be back—not because of the amazing employees, but because the gravy recipe changed. 😭 The biscuits and gravy were something I ordered every single time. They reminded me of the biscuits and gravy I used to have in elementary school, and they were seriously one of my favorite things. The new gravy, though? 😩 My whole family tried it and nobody liked it. We ended up giving it to our neighbors, and they didn’t like it either. To us, it tastes cheap and low-quality, and it just doesn’t taste like the Bojangles gravy we grew up loving. PLEASE bring back the old gravy! 🙏 You can add new menu items and make other changes, but some things are better left alone. 😂 I really hope Bojangles hears the customers on this one because I would LOVE to be able to order my biscuits and gravy again! ❤️🥹

I decided to go in one day, and the reason for the delay was that they ran out of biscuits... When you can see that the line is wrapped around the building, why are you waiting until the pan is empty to make biscuits??? Not the best planning.

I made an order for one egg biscuit with sausage, one gravy and biscuit/w "EXTRA" gravy. In which I usually pay extra for. One decaf coffee. Went to window to pay and collect my food.I was given my food & was told coffee was coming . The money was collected & finally coffee was handed to me in a very small white cup. (I was a little concerned about it even being decaf & why such a small cup?) since I usually get a large senior size. (Paid $2.29). I was finally glad to get my order since knew there were others in line waiting, so I went on my way. I was looking forward to a nice breakfast as I got home. Found I had received a sausage biscuit; 1 gravy biscuit with a "tad" of gravy @ price of ($3.39) So, I had to add my own egg, couldn't eat the dry biscuit with that small amount of gravy. I like Bojangles & it's so convenient to me I drop by a lot; but have been very disappointed in this BJ for the last few trips I've wasted. A few weeks ago, I went by one morning & of all things they said driver didn't leave any biscuits! I once again was trying to order gravy & biscuit! I made a joke with them & said give me a bowl of your gravy & I'll go home & make my own biscuits. They did give me that without charge. So, it has everything to do with having a good manager in charge & know good workers are hard to keep. Don't know the answer but this Dawsonville BJs could be very busy all the time, with all the new comers around so please do what you can to get an inspector here to see what is happening to this Bojangles.I would love to be a manager there IF I wasn't 92 years old!!
