  First time trying them and they have the best burgers I have had in awhile . They are better than five guys , fries and better and not greasy . Will definitely be back. They staff was amazing as well.

  Wayback Burgers in Covington is hands down one of the BEST burger spots around! From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with amazing customer service and a warm, clean, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The food is absolutely incredible — fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every single time. The burgers truly taste like the good old days, packed with that classic homemade flavor you just can’t find everywhere anymore. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure every experience is top tier, and you can tell they genuinely care about their customers. If you’re looking for delicious food, great vibes, and outstanding service, this place is a MUST VISIT in Covington. Highly recommend to anyone craving a real burger experience!

  I recently visited Wayback Burgers and wanted to share my honest experience. One thing I do appreciate is that they offer halal options, which was one of the main reasons I decided to give the place a try. I tried the steak burger along with another burger that was a little different from the classic style, and I also ordered a strawberry shake. The burgers themselves were a regular size—I honestly expected them to be bigger. The patties were decent in size, but overall the burgers felt pretty average to me. The food quality seemed okay, but the taste just wasn’t really for me. Nothing tasted bad, but nothing really stood out either. It felt more like a standard burger experience than something memorable. One thing that disappointed me a bit was the shake order. I specifically requested the strawberry shake without whipped cream, but it was still made with whipped cream on top. It seemed like the employee making it was occupied on the phone and may not have been paying close attention. I didn’t want the shake to be wasted or thrown away, so I just kept it and drank it anyway, but it ended up being much sweeter than I would have preferred. Overall, the experience was okay. If you’re specifically looking for halal burger options, it may still be worth trying for yourself since everyone has different tastes.
