Chris was extremely accommodating regarding my courtesy credit, but what impressed me even more was his genuine thoughtfulness. On top of assisting me with the credit, he offered me a complimentary meal for my birthday. That unexpected gesture made me feel genuinely valued and appreciated as a customer. Customer service like this deserves to be recognized. Chris demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and a sincere commitment to ensuring that my experience was a positive one. He didn’t simply do what was required...he went above and beyond what was expected. Outback Steakhouse should be proud to have a manager like Chris representing the company. Employees who create this kind of memorable customer experience are exactly the people who deserve recognition and appreciation. - MMMichael Myers3 days ago1.0I ordered what was listed on the menu as the Canberra Chopped Steak for $24, expecting an actual steak. Instead, I was served what appeared to be a Salisbury-style chopped steak, similar to the kind of processed steak you might expect from a school cafeteria. For $24, I expected a substantially better-quality steak and meal. The biggest issue is that the menu description gave me the impression that I was ordering an actual steak, not a processed Salisbury-style patty. When I questioned it, I was told that this was in fact the steak they serve for that menu item, which was extremely disappointing. I have no problem with chopped steak being on a menu, but at this price point, the quality and description should match what customers reasonably expect. I feel that $24 was far too much for what I received. Very disappointing experience, and I would not order this item again.
