  Went for the first time on vacation in Georgia. I have never been more excited to go somewhere. Our family got there and bought an all day playing pass. How do they not have enough workers to cook and serve the food or even get a drink? We had to leave to get food and drinks come back to do our fun pass. I probably won’t go back to a Dave and busters. Had to get canes across the street ugh. Proof of us eating canes in Dave and busters in pic. Also spoke to James the manger. I asked for a glass of water. He then told me he will get me a glass of water but we aren’t allowed to bring in outside food. I told them we had no choice. We had our kids who are graduating from the army all here and spent an hour in line to be seated (hardly any customers here during the day on a Thursday) and I waited in line for an additional 30 mins to get something to drink before we left to get something to eat. James didn’t believe me when I told him what happened. I told him what Was going on and said he’d call corporate and he didn’t care. We bought a bunch of $55 all day passes. We had expected to come to Dave and busters to bring our boys that graduated from army to eat and have fun. Worse experience ever at a restaurant. James is not a good manager.

  My second visit to D&B Columbus and I wanted to see if there would be a difference in overall service on a busy Friday evening versus a Tuesday afternoon. We were seated right away and waited around 10 minutes before someone acknowledged us. A really nice server from a section behind us stopped and asked if we’d been helped and we said no; so, she said she’d be right back. She delivered her table’s food and came right back inquiring if anyone had helped as of yet. We said no and she said Hi, I’m. New York and I’ll be your server with the brightest smile! So just as we were about to abandon ship New York saved the day! Thx for hiring caring and compassionate employees DB because she could’ve easily walked past us since we were not her table!

  Lemme start this off by saying we had a table of 7 there the other night & we waiting 30+ minutes just for our waiter … she said “ I’ll be right back” after waiting 15 minutes for her … she then NEVER came back 😂 There was other servers in our area that was making eye contact with me & just didn’t care to even ask if we was okay . ( one girl was cleaned her 3 round tables right in front of us & kept looking at us & nothing ) Staff INCLUDING mangers walked by us making eye contact & didn’t care to even stop & ask if we needed help . I don’t know if it was because we sat at 10:30 & they close at 12AM & no one wanted to help us ? The young man that did help us said they close at 12 & have a whole hour for side work & all that so no excuse for not being helped for 30 minutes. Needless to say we ordered $200 worth of food ( we all did the deals the $25 card for the $5 meals) yea none of us ate the food . We ordered 2 things of mozzarella sticks those was the best thing. Young man even agreeded he seen us sitting there for a while before he even came over to help us, we did end up tipping him really good, he was running from his tables across the room to our table & never missed a beat . I am so sorry I don’t remember his name but thank you so much to that young man for helping us & making our food experience there a little better !!! He was 3 sections away & in server world that like 6-10 tables away & for him to step in & help us I really appreciate that .

  My hubby and I went for a midday date and being that it was a Sunday, the crowd wasn't bad at all. I want to give a huge shout out to our server Eryn because her skills as a server were on point! She was attentive and answered all of our questions with a smile because we haven't been to a D&B's in quite awhile. They actually had quite a good team system which I noticed and appreciated. We had a great time actually and enjoyed our food but I must term a new phrase, BYOC. Bring Your Own Condiments, unless it's ketchup. I wanted a little cup of mayo to mix for my fries and their policy is to charge .59 cents per cup of extra condiment. Also, we both got the play and dine combos, me a crispy chicken sandwich, my hubby the Dave's burger. Both sandwiches were delicious and fresh but our fries were just ok. I did really like their pickles a lot. They aren't the ones sitting in a jar that will last 25 years but the fresh variety. Pickles are important on a sandwich if you are anyone a little picky about them. The game area was really nice with a decent balance of games. We paid for the unlimited for the day cards but they maxed out at 1500 tickets. So we saved our tickets on our reloadable cards and I am sure we will be back to reload and use them again. It is extremely loud with the music so that is something to consider if you struggle with that. I also don't know if that Zombie escape room game that bangs extremely loudly is a great idea in a town full of current military and Veterans. That is honestly something that I thought was the biggest fail.

  When we arrived we were seated immediately but we were not served for at least 15 minutes. Our server knew that there was an issue with the tablet charging people’s card but the company not receiving it . She “forgot” and my card was charged an extra 100 dollars that she said will cancel. That’s a mistake that can’t be made that money could have been needed for something else. Not only that, but an unnecessary item was added to the ticket . They have an open kitchen plan . As our food arrived my partner noticed one of the employees walking around back with a tissue sticking out of her nose hovering over the food . Food was being brought out to multiple tables before it reached ours because the servers didn't understand floor layout. No type of supervision or correction was made . When we notified the supervisor that it was unacceptable and that we did not feel comfortable eating the food ,she stated she gave us a full refund but provided no type of proof of , but walked away with the receipt. We then had to ask for a copy just in case I needed to dispute charge if they don’t do their part . The employees took at least an additional 30 minutes just to find out how to reprint our ticket . Young staff , they were talking and playing around with nerf guns while customers were waiting . Seems very unprofessional/unorganized as far as the kitchen. They did have a decent variety of arcade games , just your typical Dave and busters . They definitely need to get the staff kitchen and supervision under control and I think the establishment will have long term potential. Otherwise …
