Pretty sure this place hates vegans despite having a whole vegan section on their menu that is more expensive than the other portions. I'm sure it's usually relatively busy which is why they request a reservation. Which is another thing I can't seem to understand. I was scheduled for 8 a.m. right as they opened and was sat promptly. I ordered the vegan breakfast platter. It was sent to the table in less than 3 minutes. Which automatically tells me it was not freshly cooked and for a 25 dollar platter- IT SHOULD BE HOT AND FRESH. The food was disgusting. The vegan veggie sausage had a rubber coating still on it with a black char. The home potatoes were cold and covered in dry thyme seasoning from a spice container and uncooked red and green bell peppers. The sourdough had actual butter on it (which is not vegan mind you. Anyone with allergies- beware) and the folded egg was absolutely trash. For such an expensive meal- WHAT A LET DOWN. I pictured Gordon Ramsey throwing plates at the wall the whole time I was there. On that note, I was sat at 8:10 and handed my check at 8:20. Biggest scam in college park. I should be able to enjoy a 4 dollar cup of folgers coffee without being rushed. Just avoid this place at all cost.
(I've traveled all over the world and have been vegan for 7 years and this is the only meal I've ever ordered and completely regret. Just horrible)
This place was great! I made a reservation online but when we got there was told although we made a reservation there were no tables available just yet. But that was ok because they immediately did inform us of this but assured us they would seat us as soon as possible and also offered us water since we were sitting outside on a pretty hot day. While we waited someone who'd already dined told us how great the food and drinks were. She said the catfish and chicken didn't need any sauce or dip because they were seasoned so well! And she also gave the grits a big thumbs up! It didn't take long to be seated. And when we were we noticed the cool artwork on the walls. Our waitress whose name I wish I remembered was very nice, friendly and attentive. Also when we all ordered our mimosas separately she took it upon herself to mk it a carafe instead which was great because it was more cost effective. My friends had the catfish and grits meal and I had the fried chicken wings and pancakes. And we got the pineapple passion fruit mimosas
The lady who'd raved abt all of the food outside told no lies! The chicken and catfish was very delish and didn't need any hot sauce, tartar sauce or anything! The sauce that did come with the fish was really tasty too though. The grits were creamy and delicious and the pancakes were yum! Loved the mimosa too!
Would definitely come again and would recommend all day!

The food at The Breakfast Boys was absolutely amazing! Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. We ordered the lobster mac & cheese, French toast, pancake, and steak & eggs, and honestly, everything was phenomenal. The flavors definitely did not disappoint!
I would have given 5 stars, but the service could have been a little better. Our waitress was polite, but she wasn’t very interactive. I tried to engage her in conversation, but it felt like the interaction wasn’t really reciprocated, which took a little away from the overall dining experience.
However, I have to give a special shoutout to Manager Deon! He was amazing, welcoming, and really helped make the experience enjoyable.
Overall, the food is definitely worth trying, and I would absolutely come back for the food. Hopefully, next time the service experience will match the quality of the food!

Ms. Keisha made our experience at Breakfast Boys absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we sat down, she greeted us with the biggest smile and treated us like family. Her positive energy, professionalism, and attention to detail were top-tier.
The food was fresh, hot, and absolutely delicious, but Ms. Keisha’s outstanding customer service is what truly set this visit apart. She made sure we had everything we needed, checked on us often, and made us feel genuinely welcome.
It’s rare to find someone who loves what they do as much as Ms. Keisha, and it definitely shows. If you’re visiting Breakfast Boys, do yourself a favor and ask for Ms. Keisha—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you for making our brunch such an amazing experience. We’ll definitely be back!

My family and I traveled to Atlanta today. My youngest daughter suggested we have brunch at The Breakfast Boys. What a great suggestion! Ms. Kendra and Ms. Keisha treated us like royalty. The four of us were seated immediately. The place was packed yet, they made sure everyone had seats made available without waiting. You could tell the clientele were very pleased. Ms. Kendra is the manager who knows how to manage a business and take time out to make sure everyone’s enjoying their time here at The Breakfast Boys. Now to get to the great part. The associate who assisted us with our drinks and meals, Ms. Keisha, was on spot. Our drinks came right away, we did not have to wait. When it came to ordering our meals, Ms. Keisha made suggestions and described meals on the menu to a tee. This was so helpful to us because none of us had ever visited this restaurant before. Our meals came and imagine magnificent dining and add your grandmother’s excellent cooking. That describes our meals. Some places will hand you a menu and the food looks nothing like the items on the menu. The food you have here surpasses the photos on the menu and that is saying a lot. The menu looks good enough to eat. Also, they give you so much food at such a reasonable price.. As we were eating several staff personnel stopped by to ask us were we enjoying our meal and they wanted to know where we were from. Add extremely pleasant people are employed here. All of you and the food has left a lasting impression on us. Thank you all so much. The Texas Gang and One Florida Guy
