  We (2 people) arrived at Nonas at 6:10. The man at the front said it would be a 10-15 minute wait. We then waited over 40 minutes to be seated. We wanted to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt, and we were excited to try a new restaurant in town. After we got seated, we ordered our drinks, an appetizer, and a pizza. We finally received the appetizer and drinks, which was good and the server we had was very kind. But from the time we sat, we waited over 50 minutes on our pizza, which never came. After being in the restaurant for more than an hour and thirty minutes, it was almost time for the place to close (it was 7:40). We decided to walk up to the bar and ask for our bill without the pizza. As soon as we were finished paying, the cook from the back came out and said our pepperoncini was ready. We left without being able to try the pizza. I’m so disappointed in the amount of time we had to wait, only to eat an appetizer and leave.

It featured a generous combination of greens, ripe tomatoes, olives, toasted croutons, grated cheese, and fresh mozzarella. The ingredients were arranged naturally rather than being overly constructed, giving the dish an inviting and rustic Italian character. First Impression The combination of fresh vegetables, creamy mozzarella, crunchy croutons, and herbs creates an appealing contrast of textures. The dressing was generously applied, yet the overall presentation remained balanced and appetizing. Service The bartender provided warm, attentive, and welcoming service throughout the experience. The interaction felt friendly and professional without ever being intrusive. His attention to detail added to the enjoyment of the meal and complemented the overall experience beautifully. Atmosphere The atmosphere added another special touch. The TVs displayed beautiful coastal landscapes of Italy, creating a relaxing visual connection to the country while reinforcing the restaurant’s Italian character. Combined with the bar setting, the Italian scenery, and the presentation of the food, the atmosphere made the experience feel particularly immersive. Final Verdict The dish ultimately lived up to my expectations and delivered the experience I was hoping for. The quality, presentation, flavors, attentive service, and Italian-inspired atmosphere came together beautifully. The dish and the bartender’s service were, without a doubt, the perfect combination to meet the standards and experience this restaurant promises. The attention to detail and welcoming service made the visit genuinely enjoyable. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. I would confidently recommend Nona Italian Restaurant to anyone looking for good food, attentive service, and an atmosphere that captures the spirit of Italy. Would I come back? Definitely. I would gladly return in the future to explore more of what this restaurant has to offer. 🇮🇹🇺🇸🍷🍽️

  I ordered our pizza through the app since I was on the road heading toward our camping spot. The app makes it easy, however I wasn't sure of how big the pizza was since there wasn't much description of size reference and calling them didn't receive an answer *(I tried 4 times, to speak with someone)*. One pizza will feed 2-4 people depending on how hungry you are. However, upon arriving I realized why no one answered the phone. It was BUSY and the restaurant smelled amazing. I spoke with the owner who apologized about the wait. The food was made to order, hot and delicious. This is the spot, if you want TRUE Italian food and atmosphere It's not fast, but quality FOOD is never fast. Great restaurant for a date night, out with friends or family is in town. They don't accept reservations, so get there early.

  I recently dined at Nona's for the first time and I was deeply disappointed. The service was inadequate. My family and I ordered our main entree's and the one came out burnt. The presentation of the other was extremely messy and partially undercooked. I ordered the crab ravioli's and they came out hard and extremely spicy and lemony. I had talked to the staff and kindly explained that I can't eat spicy things and it was not labeled as spicy. They kindly let me order something different, I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs. When my meal came out the sauce was extremely watery and the meatballs were pink on the inside once I realized I decided not to eat it and to just pay and leave. When I got home my stomach was in pain and I was sick the rest of the night. I am very unhappy with my experience with Nona's and I will not return. I am sharing my experience with the restaurant so others can be aware.

  We visited Nona a couple of months after its opening and overall had a good experience. We tried the grouper and the chicken Parmesan. Both were good, although the sauce with the grouper was a little too spicy for my taste. Service was pleasant and the staff checked on us several times, but there were a few small misses. We had to ask for napkins and knives, and the dessert was served with an unusually tiny spoon that seemed better suited for espresso than dessert. The atmosphere was fine, although we visited around 3:00–3:30 in the afternoon when the restaurant was fairly quiet, so it was difficult to get a real sense of what it is like during a busier dinner service. Our total was about $110 for two people, including two beers, an appetizer, two entrées, and dessert. Like many restaurants now, they also add a service charge for paying by credit card. Overall, the food was good and we would return. For a relatively new restaurant, there is a solid foundation here, with a few service details that could still use some polishing.
