I am writing to express my serious disappointment with our recent experience at Arby’s in Clayton, Georgia.
First, I want to make it clear that Maureen Nash, the manager, has always been extremely nice, professional, and helpful. Unfortunately, Maureen was not available when we called back to address the problems with our order. Instead, we spoke with the acting manager on duty, who did not provide his name and offered very little assistance or any satisfactory resolution.
The quality of the food was extremely disappointing.
The chicken salad was terrible. The lettuce was wilted, there was an excessive amount of mayonnaise, and there were hardly any pecans, apples, or chicken. It was honestly one of the worst chicken salads we have received.
We also ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap, but instead received a very sloppy
sandwich that was practically dripping in Buffalo sauce. When we questioned this, the acting manager told us that the Buffalo chicken wrap had been discontinued more than a year ago. This was confusing because we ordered that same item from this location approximately two weeks ago.
To top everything off, we ordered an unsweetened tea and received sweet tea.
Mistakes can happen, and we understand that. What made the experience particularly frustrating was the response when we called to address the problems. The acting manager showed very little empathy, did not seem particularly concerned about our experience, and offered very few options to make the situation right.
This Arby’s location used to be very good, which is why we continued going there. Unfortunately, the quality and service appear to have gone significantly downhill. We have also heard similar concerns from other customers in the area, which makes this even more disappointing.
We are not writing this simply to complain—we genuinely hope these concerns are taken seriously and that the restaurant can return to the level of quality and customer service it once provided.
We have always had positive experiences dealing with Maureen Nash, and we hope that upon her return she can review what happened and help resolve this situation appropriately.

We stopped at this Arby’s on our way home because it looked clean. We ordered our food, waited patiently, and were kind to everyone working there.
When we got our food, my husband and daughters went to the car while I stayed inside to refill my tea. The employees apparently thought we had left and started joking that our family was going to “get the parasite” and making fun of us.
I came back inside and asked where the lettuce came from. They said Amarillo, and one of the employees laughed about it.
How is a parasite that has made people seriously sick and even killed people funny? Why would you joke about something like that when you don’t know the people eating your food? My husband has an autoimmune disease and is a type 1 diabetic, and our children were eating this food too. Do they not understand the seriousness of the parasite which can prove deadly to the immune compromised, such as my husband and daughters. We had two sandwiches with lettuce.
It honestly made me wonder: **Did they tamper with our food?** I don't know if they did, but after hearing employees joke about giving us a parasite, that thought naturally crossed my mind. I mean LAUGHING OUT LOUD. What is so funny about the food you gave us? It is not a joke, and nothing to laugh about.
We had just finished a long day of yard work at our mountain property and were looking forward to some Arby’s on the way home. We were kind to everyone there and expected the same in return.

I wanted to recognize the outstanding customer service I received at Arby’s in Clayton tonight. The young lady who helped me was incredibly sweet, patient, and caring. She took the time to answer all of my questions without making me feel rushed and made sure I had everything I needed.
It’s been quite some time since I’ve experienced customer service like this. Great service is few and far between these days, and she truly went above and beyond. Her kindness and positive attitude made my visit a wonderful experience. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves because employees like her make all the difference. Thank you for making my night!

"Can't fulfill your order, machine has been broken all day"
Then why does the app let you order?
"It just does"
Well can I get a refund then?
"No, you have to go through the app"
Service these days is so "fantastic".
Or something....
