  I just left Einstein Bros. Bagels and felt compelled to report an ongoing sanitation issue that I’ve witnessed multiple times. An employee(SPECIFIC) was placing meat and eggs directly on a counter that had visible debris from previous orders. At one point, she even used an egg to push debris aside and then continued using that same egg on a customer’s sandwich. There was no cleaning or barrier (such as paper) used at any point. (look at cameras and you will see) More importantly, meat should never be placed on a surface with visible food residue or debris. I also observed multiple food safety concerns: Knives were used to cut multiple orders without being cleaned between customers, which is especially concerning for allergy safety. The same pair of gloves was used across multiple customers instead of changing gloves between each order. A single scoop was used for different cream cheese flavors, creating cross-contamination. This is not a one-time incident. It has been happening consistently, which is what made me finally speak up. I did express my concerns in-store, and light skin young lady named I think Jaida handled the situation professionally. She listened, understood the seriousness of the issue, and apologized on behalf of the store. I appreciate her response, I never visualized her in particular doing anything wrong. I ONLY RECOMMEND JAIDA TO MAKE YOUR ORDER, IF YOU CARE ABOUT HYGIENE. I also have photos showing food (eggs and sausage) sitting directly on an unclean surface with crumbs and debris from prior orders. This is a food safety concern and should be taken seriously. I hope management addresses this immediately to ensure proper hygiene standards are followed.
