Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Food was not the best was very disappointed was not aware I would be waiting for my meal in the drive thru.

Over priced food. Basically a salad on a hamburger bun. Hamburgers have no flavor. Very tiny same with the chicken, fries came out cold and flavorless 🤐,on the other hand the employees were top notch, super attentive and kind.Bathrooms clean but the Stand-Up urinal next to the walk in toilet stall there is a I'd say an inch gap that separates the wall to the stall, so say you're sitting down for a BM (bowel movement) And another customer standing up using the urinal now he's at the right level person sitting down in the stall to see your penis kind of weird, sadly, it used to be my wife's favorite fast food restaurant years ago. No longer and it's a shame because we're going to be down that way a lot for physical therapy. But good luck. I hope we don't take this post in a negative like.

I have really mixed feelings about my experience. First off, the location is really clean, the lobby is new and well kept. The atmosphere was very welcoming. I was surprised this location was open on Easter Sunday. The staff was friendly and professional. Everything up to this point earned 5 stars. The fries were spot on, absolutely perfect. I wish I would have known about the extra charge for condiments. No worries, just ketchup will be just fine. The burger the reason why I gave a lower rating. The food was fresh, well prepared, you can tell that it's was preped on a clean grill. The presentation of the actual burger needs some work. It just looked really cheap. Maybe have the bacon strips a little more crispy. Add some lettuce strips or diffent texture. Everything is diced and missing the class look. It's hard to know what is what, untill you open the burger since the bun is so big and flat. Best way I can summarize it is a pancake burger. Don't get me wrong, it was night and day difference from McDonalds, Wendy's, and Burger King.
