They could just take your card like they used to, but instead they now hold out their wobbly card reader for you and ask for a tip on their already overpriced food. And because it's so wobbly and unstable, it's easy to almost actually press one of the tip options instead of no tip (who is even GETTING these tips - and for what? this isn't a sub minimum wage restaurant). I avoid this place unless I'm starving now
