Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Food is good, restaurant is clean and bright and they have outdoor seating area
However, I cannot give five stars due to the lack of a gluten-free bun option, I have to bring my own bread

It was a trip my daughter took me on for my birthday when all of a sudden the zipper in my dress broke! We ran into a store, I tried on a bunch of dresses, found one, after the purchase I was so thirsty and stressed. I ran into whataburger for a sweet tea...the lady helping me asked about the event I was dressed for. When I told her, she went to the back, brought staff out, they began singing happy birthday to me, and then every customer in the place joined in!!! It was so wonderful and kind, and just the blessing this birthday girl needed! They were packed! So the food MUST BE AMAZING! I know the staff certainly are! And that's a major deal these days! Thank you all for being such a blessing!!!

Valentina had excellent customer service! She added a smiles with a great burger! Our family of seven came and ate our 1st Whataburger meal: several different burgers, onion rings, fries, malts, shakes and apple pies.

The female manager on night shift is lying about my daughter’s hello kitty purse. We are in a society where a manager, who is supposed to be a leader and at the very least trustworthy, will tell you they are putting something in a safe (which is very specific) and now it is magically disappeared. She also lied to her operating manager, Jesus, about not knowing anything about it. He’s pathetic because now he’s trying to hide behind company policy (as if I work for the company) that the don’t keep customers belongings past 24hours. Why didn’t your manager set that expectation? Because they suck as an entire management team. Poor leadership trickles down. I guess because my 9 year old had a wallet in her purse. Pay the manager and she won’t have to take from a 9 year old. This is a place I will never eat again. Do not leave anything and trust nothing here. They will lie. NEVER AGAIN.
