  I'm from Philly born and raised, so my coworker told me about a place selling Cheese Steak like back Home..... AND YES, IT'S THE BOMB'DIGGITY!!!! And they do have Wooder Ice!!! I ordered a Cheese Steak Hoagie, yummy. Don't know if it was an Amorosa Roll but close enough. Lots of meat, fresh ingredients and great customer service.. I met the owner (black owned❤️) and found out his Dad and I lived in the same neighborhood and attended the same schools, shout out to Southern!!!! I will be a frequent customer....

  I been following on Instagram for a while and wanted to support. I ordered 2 honey garlic beef cheese steaks. Of course I want cheese and there was only one option so I selected. At the end of the transaction a fee titled SUPPLEMENTAL FEE ADJUSTMENT was listed. I asked a rep what that was for. IT WAS FOR CHEESE!!! Keep in mind its the only cheese . WHO WANTS A CHEESELESS PHILLY??? But whatever I went along with it. I wanted to eat in the car before going to a concert. I literally walked from the store to my car to eat. This was the messiest sandwich I have ever had! Like disintegrated in my hand. Needs to be served in a bowl with a fork! It was like a sloppy joe. As far as the cheese go I saw none. Im good.

  I know for a fact that uncle Phil cares about his business because what brought me here was the TikTok advertisements but when I arrived, no one spoke to me like hi welcome and have you been here before is it your first time and I had to go to the kiosk and order my food myself like when I arrived I look the chef and the chef’s aid and everyone in their eyes and they didn’t speak to me I spoke to them, but their response was like lackluster It’s crazy work like it immediately made me want to turn around, but I was like I drove all the way out here from Covington so I’m going to buy this Philly steak and cheese sub. I appreciate the food being steaming hot but as you know when food is steaming hot, you really can’t get a good taste of it but overall my Philly was kind of salty and my fries were over salted like I feel like that. They just didn’t feel like they were gonna make my food well if that makes sense like just the way they looked at me like I was the 5/0 or something. I don’t know it’s just as weird look they gave me when I came in. None of these folks has ever seen me and from the videos uncle Phil seems like a really nice inviting guy like it. Don’t matter if you Light Skin dark skin like come have a Philly but your workers just didn’t seem inviting that’s it my sub was 6/10 but you know some people love salty food so I’m not complaining on that too much. . Overall, my experience was. Not inviting at all No one spoke When I came in Music is super loud And I had to go back inside and ask for ketchup for my overly salty fries. It’s like they put seasoning, salt and regular salt on them. PS customer service is very important!

  So we pulled up the next day after meeting Donald outside of Krogers. The vibes were on point. Swee - T (insider) both had good energy. Now time for the food, we ordered chicken phillys….and yo I just opened it up and this thing is stuffed! Presentation 🔥 now my first bite…yooo this his thang got flavor! Now fries id prefer a bit crispier but we not here rating fries. Philly A1 I’m giving a 9.9. Oh yea Donald gave a free 6 wing ticket with a sandwich, I’d say the wings were cool bout what you’d expect for a non wing spot. Aye they were free but get that Philly though. Hell I’d say 10 since we got them free wings. JAM

  I'm writing to say I was reading the reviews and I read a particular one star review with a few valid issues. Here is the owners response taking full responsibility and offering to make it right. ***Owner-m really sorry you had this experience. That’s not the standard we hold ourselves to, especially when it comes to food quality and safety. The biggest concern in your message is the food handling, and I take that very seriously. There’s no excuse for not changing gloves after touching trash or cleaning chemicals — that’s a clear violation of how we train our team, and it’s something I’m addressing immediately. I also hate to hear that the cheesesteak didn’t hit. We’re known for quality, consistency, and properly prepared ribeye, so for it to come out lacking flavor or poorly made is not what we stand on at all. As for the customer service — that’s just as important as the food, and we clearly missed the mark there too. I appreciate you calling this out, even though it’s tough to hear. This is the kind of feedback that forces us to tighten up and be better. If you’re open to it, please DM us this thread on Instagram so we can connect directly and work to make this right.
